Fourth, in order to attain perfect enlightenment, In places difficult to practice, through eons, and for the sake of countless beings, With unwavering mental strength and supreme armor, There is no other hero in the world comparable to this one. Fifth, the divisions have seven categories, One is emptiness with compassion as its essence, Two are the two accumulations, two truths, aspiration, and engagement. Three are the trainings of discipline, concentration, and wisdom. Four are the stages of accumulation, preparation, impure grounds, pure grounds, and the Buddha ground in order. Faith-practice, higher intention, purity, and complete maturation, Great compassion, abandoning all obscurations. Five are the five paths, the initial path of karma and, Complete purification, the path of seeing, and the path of liberation. The inconceivable stages of generating bodhicitta. Six are the six perfections, corresponding to six types of bodhicitta. Seventh, the boundaries of the grounds are divided into twenty-two, Each also has three: example, friend, and dharma friend. Sixth, the way to receive it is from a virtuous spiritual friend, And through one's own strength from the victorious ones with their children. First, the preliminary, the main part, and the conclusion are three. The preliminary has four special qualities, First, the object of receiving, a special spiritual friend, To whom offer a mandala and make requests. Second, the special instructions of mind training, Generate weariness at the end of existence, reject attachment at the end of peace, Praise the path that abandons both extremes. Third, the cause of arising, the special skillful means, Accumulate vast two accumulations with the seven branches. Fourth, the root of vows, the supreme support, For what purpose, at what time, and in what place, Possessing the three uncommon qualities, establish the foundation with refuge. Second, the main part, the three requests for consideration, Take the preliminary, aspiration, and engagement all at once. Third, the conclusion, contemplate joy for oneself and others. The way to receive it oneself, the Buddhas and their children, Unobstructed, knowledgeable, and mindful of limitless beings, In that place, perform the seven branches and take the vows, Contemplate joy and make aspirations. Seventh, what to learn, the means of guarding and what to guard are two. The means of guarding are mindfulness and awareness, Without these, one who wishes to guard the three trainings, Is like a warrior entering battle without armor, Only to lose one's life on the cliff of bad destinies. First, mindfulness is the dharma of hearing, thinking, and meditating, Not forgetting, familiarizing oneself with one's own mind stream, Especially learning well all the aspects of what is to be learned, Repeatedly exhorting and reciting.

I practice and remember. Second, always act with mindfulness. What I have done and thought, is it good or not? Have I not lost the conduct of a Bodhisattva? Examine again and again, guard your own mind. Second, what is to be protected is threefold: restraint, gathering, and benefiting. First, the discipline of restraining misconduct is: Protecting the root downfalls and their branches. The root downfalls are in the order of one, four, and eighteen. Following the Sutra of the Essence of Space, Based on skillful means and the Bodhisattva grounds. First, protecting not to abandon the aspiration mind, In order for limitless beings to attain Buddhahood, I cultivate virtuous deeds and abandon non-virtuous deeds, Do not forget this thought, connect with the Three Jewels. Whatever virtuous deeds are accomplished, there is nothing other than practice. This is the summary of all trainings, Easy to understand, meaning condensed, profound and excellent. From the instructions of the incomparable and kind Lama, Only this meaning is emphasized and spoken. Second, stinginess, desire, anger, and Ignorance, with four motivations in order: Not giving Dharma or wealth, praising oneself and disparaging others, Beating and abusing, not listening to recitations. Abandoning the true Dharma, teaching non-Dharma. Third, what kings and ministers often commit, The categories of downfalls, in order of five, five, and eight. First, from stealing the property of the Three Jewels, abandoning the Dharma, etc., Punishing those who uphold the precepts and those who break them, advising study, etc., Committing the five inexpiable sins, wrong views, etc., are five. Second, subtract wrong view from the previous five, Replace it with destroying villages, towns, cities, settlements, and Countries, count as one and add it. Third, teaching emptiness to those who have not trained their minds, For perfect enlightenment, preventing others from entering the superior path, causing them to enter the inferior path. Abandoning individual liberation vows and learning Bodhicitta. Holding that the Hearers' and Solitary Realizers' vehicles have no self-fruit. Praising oneself and disparaging others with gain and respect. Falsely claiming to have realized what one has not realized. Punishing monks with offenses, accepting bribes. Giving what should be abandoned to those who recite scriptures. Thus, carefully protect the conduct of the root downfalls. If it has been broken, there are three ways to restore it: superior, middling, and inferior. The superior one confesses in the state of the view of emptiness. Knowing that the nature of sins and downfalls is empty, generating remorse is supreme. The middling one prays to the deity of the wisdom mantra. Also, during the day, practice Uposatha and take vows.
