Whether it is a monk, a nun, a male or female patron, a male or female householder, or a virtuous man or woman with fame, whether venerable or not, whether great or small, whoever is born under the influence of these seven stars, whoever hears this Dharma and learns it, comprehends it, and offers it with their own body, and then encourages friends or relatives to uphold it, the grace and fruit of this merit will be obtained in this very life. Will be born in the Buddha-field endowed with faith. Any son or daughter of good family who is oppressed by demons and spirits, or tormented by fierce demons, or has bad dreams, or sees inauspicious signs, or whose own mind feels fear and dread, if they listen to this Dharma, learn it, understand it, and make offerings, they will be liberated from those obstacles and they will be lessened, their mind and heart will become peaceful, and all their fear and dread will be exhausted. Any son or daughter of good family who, when associating with their lord and master, wishes to be pleased and cherished, or when being sent on errands, if that person encounters this Dharma and reveres and makes offerings with a joyful heart, then they will be close to and cherished by that lord and master, their reputation and fame will be enhanced and spread, and they will obtain great joy. Any son or daughter of good family who is afflicted and tormented by severe illness, and who wishes to be liberated from that illness, if they burn incense in a clean place, make offerings to this Dharma, and have it recited, then they will be freed from all the clinging illnesses. Any son or daughter of good family who embarks on a journey, travels far, and engages in trade, wishing to be satisfied with the wealth they have obtained, and wishing for kindness, fruits, and benefits to be vast and abundant, if they revere and make offerings to this Dharma with a faithful mind, then all their desires will be fulfilled as they wish. When going out and coming in, they will be filled with great joy. Furthermore, any son or daughter of good family who does not obtain crops and fruits in the fields, or whose livestock becomes ill, then if they burn incense in a clean place and make offerings to this precious Dharma, all the crops will grow well, and the livestock will increase. And there will be no more demons or obstacles. Furthermore, if any daughter of good family who is pregnant encounters obstacles and unfavorable months, if she reveres and makes offerings to this Dharma with a faithful mind, she will be liberated from those obstacles without illness.
