Please listen. Wherever this king of knowledge mantras is used excellently, the Blessed One will not be harmed by the nagas. Wherever this essence dharani is used to protect, completely protect, hold, completely save, weave threads, delineate boundaries, destroy (the nagas') lineage with mandalas, and separately dispatch, Blessed One, we constantly and continuously pray to avert all harm. Please protect all crops, flowers, and fruits everywhere. Please completely save. Even please protect thieves, deceitful people, wild animals, and birds, so that they will not do evil in the future. Then, the Blessed One said to those naga kings: "Good! You should do it like that! You should protect Jambudvipa well." After that, perform the ritual, do all the actions, and auspiciousness should be proclaimed. If there is harm to crops, then the vidyadhara should sit in the middle of the field, or on top of the house, or in a high place, in the vajra posture, and place four vases in the four directions. Scatter flower petals. Make seven tormas. Make tormas from grain, twenty-one for each torma. Place a mixture of rice and milk porridge, as well as yogurt and milk. Place fruits and flowers. Place bird-shaped vases in the four directions. Place four lotus-shaped dough tormas. Place a large vase in the center of the mandala. Fill it with five kinds of grains, water, and milk. Pour in mustard seeds and roasted rice. Recite the mantra six times. For the recitation, make four sengdeng wood pegs and one iron peg, all pegs should be eight fingers in length.
