It is also said that observing the three thousand great thousand worlds, there is not even a place as small as a mustard seed where a Bodhisattva has not sacrificed their life. This shows how difficult it is to generate faith and how difficult it is to hear the Dharma. Accepting with the power of faith is called 'receiving'; remembering and upholding with the power of mindfulness is called 'upholding'; reading the text is called 'reading'; reciting the text from memory is called 'reciting'.
