The introduced luminosity should be constantly practiced, as stated in the 'Sutra of Familiarizing Oneself with No-Self': 'The mind of enlightenment is luminosity, the yogi should constantly meditate on it.' By meditating on luminosity in this way, one attains the body of the Victorious One, as stated in the 'Samadhiraja Sutra': 'Just as my body is accomplished by light, which is inconceivable.' Therefore, in a secluded place, practicing with the nine key points such as renunciation and devotion, it will appear as it is. As stated in the latter part of the 'Precious Ocean Tantra': 'The luminosity of the Guru's blessing, at dawn or at other times, ask the holy face of the door of appearance, which is the indivisibility of clarity and emptiness, great bliss.' There are four types: the luminosity of clarity, the luminosity of non-conceptuality, the luminosity of bliss, and the luminosity of indivisibility. That is to say, luminosity appears to everyone, regardless of whether it is recognized or not, the difference lies only in familiarity. Especially, it is most excellent to recognize it at sunrise in the morning. After falling asleep, one can see all the activities in the vicinity and hear all the sounds clearly. If one does not fall asleep, one will become a Buddha. From the inside out, a vast realm appears, and if a pure land appears, then the appearance of mountains and other objects will be established. Similarly, it appears like the rays of the sun and moon, like the light of the moon or dew, or like the bright and warm radiance of the sun, or like the radiance of a snow mountain, or feeling like sitting on the top of a crystal mountain, or like a lamp burning in the heart, or like five-colored lights or a string of white lights, or like a single bright lamp, or the room is filled with light, or light shines through the window, or a grayish-white light appears from any of the four external directions, or like lightning, or like a firefly, or like moving bindus, the sun and moon appear in front with sound and light, or any living being, or any land, stone, or mountain, burning and transforming into light, or men and women holding lamps in the dark, or mountains or houses transforming into a mass of light, or light radiating from a mirror or jewel, or in the middle of a great river, or waves abiding in light, and so on, countless appearances occur. Holding small objects, etc., generates strong hatred towards slight objects of attachment and aversion. Clear and bright, seven times brighter than daytime, this is the luminosity mixed with hatred, appearing like gold or verdigris. For some, it appears as ignorance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

When (the clear light) dawns, one will not feel sleepy day and night, and will be healthy, with fair and clear skin. However, due to one's own or others' karma, such as being afflicted by wind or evil spirits, it will change and become dull. If the lama points it out and generates certainty, it will transform into clear clear light. In short, in sleep, just as one hears friends reciting scriptures, chanting mantras, discussing various topics, and various birds making sounds, one hears them clearly. If one does not fall asleep that day, the light will be seven times clearer than usual. An example of the ultimate clear light: just as in the clear autumn sky, when the sun shines, all appearances become clearer and clearer, eventually appearing as clear, empty, and without attachment. As it says in the 'Excellent Samadhi Sutra': 'If the clear clear light does not dawn, then there will be countless (appearances).' The non-conceptual clear light has five aspects: the clear light of the wind entering the central channel, the clear light of the knots of the channels dissolving, the clear light of infinite consciousness, the clear light of the mixture of sleep and ignorance, and the clear light of the non-conceptual reality, Mahamudra. The first is: like being pressed down by a black person, a storm, or a mountain, or being covered by clothes, one feels dim, and the ears buzz. If it is caused by evil spirits, it can be eliminated by any remedy. If it is clear light, then these will become stronger with meditation. Therefore, thinking that this is the clear light pointed out by the lama, and resolving not to let it disappear, abide in the clear light, and this will generate great power. The second is: due to the knots of the channels dissolving, the body will tremble, or jump up from the seat. At this time, the wind and clear light mix, and the clear light that is indistinguishable between day and night will dawn. The third is: feeling that the body and mind are dwelling in the sky, and that the body and mind are separating. Then, one will feel that this mind is also becoming as vast as the sky, and thus generate great fear. At this time, one should lie down comfortably, stretching out the legs and arms, merging the mind with the sky, thinking that awareness pervades wherever the sky pervades, and abide in the state of non-duality of awareness and emptiness. In this way, one can be liberated from all attachment to body, mind, and sky, and the inconceivable clear light will dawn. The fourth is: whether one falls asleep or not, there will be no conceptual thoughts, and one will remain in that state throughout the night. The fifth is: grasping the dream and (manifesting) the clear light. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
