A Collection of Teachings from Tsarchen Losal Gyamtso TSR24, excerpted from the songs of Tsarchen Losal Gyamtso. A Collection of Teachings from Tsarchen Losal Gyamtso, excerpted from the songs of Tsarchen Losal Gyamtso. Namo Guru (藏文:གུ་རུ་,梵文天城体:गुरु,梵文罗马拟音:guru,汉语字面意思:Homage to the Guru). O, Khaupa, whose kindness is unparalleled and unfailing! I prostrate at the feet of Kunpang Chöje. At the request of you, faithful disciples, I, a wanderer, will speak some words of my realization. In the past, through the force of virtuous actions, I obtained the precious vajra body of leisure and endowment. The qualified lama compassionately took me in, I obtained the essence of Vajrayana. I relied on the remote edges of solitary retreats, I exerted effort in the two stages of the path. Various experiences of confusion arose. These are the topics of what happened in the past. Now I will explain the state of affairs of the present: Demons and the eight worldly concerns strike at my heart. With food, I am intoxicated by the poisonous water of food. My mind never awakens from the bed of laziness. For the sake of insignificant gains and losses, I fear that the Lord of Death will seize me. I deliberately make my heart colder than water. This is my present, frank autobiography. Now I have such hopes for the future: Abandon expectations for this life. Leave the crowd of black-headed people. Live in empty mountains with no fixed abode. Eat grass and leaves without attachment. Single-pointedly and without distraction, rest freely in the unerring yoga of the two stages. Transform whatever arises into the path. Wait for the time of death to come. Strive to fulfill the lama's intentions. Repay the kindness of beings in the three realms. This is the offering of you, faithful disciples. Please keep these in mind, my disciples. If your mind also thinks this way, then do likewise. May the wishes of the wanderer be fulfilled, may there be auspiciousness! This is the frank account of Gyalkhampa's realization of the beginning, middle, and end of his life, without any exaggeration or concealment. May there be auspiciousness! Spoken to clarify one's own mind: Namo Guru (藏文:གུ་རུ་,梵文天城体:गुरु,梵文罗马拟音:guru,汉语字面意思:Homage to the Guru). O, Khaupa, whose kindness is unparalleled and unfailing! From the depths of my heart, I prostrate, you are the adornment on my crown. The song of interdependent arising, the play of appearance and emptiness. The song of the experience of empty sound, O Lama! Please look upon me with compassion from afar, O kind Dorinpa! From the depths of my heart...

Oh, land! Inseparable Guru Vajradhara (Dorje Chang). Oh, birds playing in the valleys and meadows! Spreading your wings and singing beautiful songs, it feels so happy. Don't you feel the sunlight is fading away? Isn't it better to go back to your homeland to do business? If caught by a useless fox, won't you regret it? Think it over, oh birds! Think it over, oh birds with beautiful feathers and sweet voices! Oh, young and like-minded youths! Singing and dancing, it feels so happy. Don't you feel the shadows are falling on the earth? Isn't it better to gather firewood? If you quarrel with your loving parents, won't you regret it? Think it over, oh mommy's darlings! Think it over, oh young and lovely people! Oh, practitioners living in the solitary mountains! Sleeping naked without worries, it feels so happy. Don't you know that the Lord of Death (Yama) is coming? Isn't it better to meditate single-mindedly? If you waste this precious human body, won't you regret it? Think it over, oh yogi practitioners! Think it over, oh great meditators in the mountains! You have obtained the precious human body that is difficult to obtain. You are taken care of by a qualified Guru. You have obtained the essence of profound instructions and tantras. Isn't it better to attain Buddhahood in this lifetime? Generate pure wisdom, oh son of the kind Guru! Think it over, oh wandering practitioners! This was on a rock in the Ja Sang mountain in Phan Yul, when the sun was setting and feeling sad, seeing many birds playing in the meadow in front, and many shepherds picking firewood and playing in the ground behind, Thinking of these people, it is also an encouragement to virtuous deeds, so I made this reminder to my own heart. May it be auspicious and perfect! Although residing in the heart of the all-pervading wheel, holding the red robes on my crown. Although residing in the heart of the all-pervading wheel, holding the red robes on my crown. That incomparable sound of 'Nada' (Tibetan transliteration) is the only nectar that nourishes my ears. Although you manifest as Gyalwa Gyatso (Dalai Lama), you are the only protector of beings. I prostrate from the depths of my heart to Kunkhyen Chökyi Gyaltsen, please fulfill the wishes of this beggar! In that image like a white vajra, Like the consciousness of an ignorant animal entering into it, For those monks who can wander in samsara forever, I really can't bear it, so I give my own admonition. The leisure and opportunity achieved by the accumulated merits of the past. In this three realms of samsara, it is like broad daylight. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
