Then, contemplate offering the food to the Dakinis (female deities) and Dharma protectors, the deities who accomplish the four activities, reciting the three syllables (Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ) once each. Finally, contemplate offering a skull cup filled with nectar to all sentient beings in the six realms of samsara, May they each be free from suffering and attain the state of Yama (the Lord of Death). In particular, contemplate directing the offering to enemies and spirits with whom you have had karmic debts and grudges since beginningless time, as well as sorcerers who inflict curses through evil thoughts and actions in this life, reciting the three syllables and giving them the food, allowing them to enjoy whatever they desire, so that their evil thoughts, harsh actions, and sins are purified into the expanse of reality, ultimately attaining Buddhahood—this is cutting off elaboration. Second, Blessing: Contemplate all sentient beings becoming Buddhas and going to the ten directions of pure lands. The skull cup and other offerings in front dissolve like a rainbow into the sky. The deities who accomplish the four activities merge into the Buddha's manifestation body and retinue. These merge into the Yidam (personal deity), the Yidam merges into the lineage guru, and the lineage guru dissolves into light and merges into the root guru. Contemplate the guru and the Three Jewels as inseparable, and with intense devotion, recite 'I take refuge in the Buddha,' so that the guru's mind and your own mind become inseparable, receiving the blessings of all Buddhas, and contemplate the mind becoming the Dharmakaya (body of truth). Recite 'I take refuge in the Dharma,' so that the guru's speech and your own speech become inseparable, receiving the blessings of the speech of all Buddhas, and the speech becomes the Sambhogakaya (body of enjoyment). Recite 'I take refuge in the Sangha,' so that the guru's body and your own body become inseparable, receiving the blessings of the body of all Buddhas, and the body becomes the Nirmanakaya (body of emanation). Recite 'I take refuge in the Guru,' the essence of all Buddhas of the three times, so that the guru's body, speech, mind, and wisdom vajra, and the nature of your own body, speech, and mind become of one taste. Receiving the blessings of all the Tathagatas' (Thus Gone Ones) three bodies, five wisdoms, qualities, and activities, contemplate your aggregates, elements, and sense bases becoming the Dharmakaya, the wheel of qualities and activities—this is blessing. Third, Resting the Mind in Suchness: Vocally recite: 'This itself is clear and empty, awareness itself is unceasing, self-aware wisdom in an instant.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here, there is no beginning, middle, or end, No existence, no passing into sorrow. No self, and no other, This is the supreme great bliss. This itself is clear and empty. It should be known by pointing from this. The nature of this is the three kāyas (藏文:སྐུ་གསུམ་,梵文天城体:त्रिकाय,梵文罗马拟音:trikāya,汉语字面意思:three bodies), Possessing the nature of the five wisdoms (藏文:ཡེ་ཤེས་ལྔ་,梵文天城体:पंचज्ञान,梵文罗马拟音:pañcajñāna,汉语字面意思:five wisdoms). Sentient beings are themselves Buddhas, There is no other Buddha to be shown. The wisdom body of the Buddhas, Cannot be found by searching elsewhere. Thus it is said. With the seven-fold posture of Vairochana (藏文:རྣམ་སྣང་,梵文天城体:वैरोचन,梵文罗马拟音:Vairocana,汉语字面意思:illuminating everywhere), the eyes unblinking, gazing fixedly at the empty space directly in front of the brow center. The breath flows naturally. The mind, without the conceptual thought of grasping at self, self-awareness and emptiness are inseparable, like clouds clearing in the sky, dissolving on their own. In the wisdom of emptiness, without even grasping at that, let the body and mind relax and rest without contrivance. At that time, if thoughts arise like a fog, recognize them for what they are, and without deliberately abandoning or adopting anything, gaze intently at their essence. Where did they first come from? Where do they ultimately go? Now, they are not established in any shape, color, or anything else, uncorrupted by conceptual thought, and untainted by antidotes. Rest in the state of ungrasping, clear and empty, just as it is. In the breaks between sessions, by realizing the emptiness of the Dharmakāya Dharma Body), compassion for beings is continuous. With skillful means and limitless conduct, without grasping at the field, objects, or the agent as illusory, strive for the vast accumulation of merit. Thus it is said, and for the sake of those beings who have not realized the meaning of this uncontrived state, which pervades the expanse of space, cultivate immeasurable compassion. Knowing that all self, other, container, and contents are the mandala of Yama, Lord of Death Yama), strive diligently in virtuous actions. By this virtue, may I quickly accomplish the wisdom of Manjushri Gentle Glory), and may I establish every single being, without exception, in that state. Thus, dedicate the merit. If there is leisure, one should also recite the supplication to the lineage gurus, etc., here. O friends, in a secluded mountain retreat, having abandoned all unnecessary activities of this life, is it not fitting to single-pointedly rest in equanimity in the profound, uncontrived intention of the Buddhas of the three times? Thus spoke the yogi Losal, born from the words of the venerable Duti Pa, at Shanglung Rinchen Gang Monastery. May all benefit and happiness arise from this virtue! Shubhamastu sarvajagatām. Written by the monk Khyentse Wangchuk, who lives in close dependence on the kindness of the venerable lama himself. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
