The Teachings of Chagkya Lotsawa Gyatso TSR23, 'The Lamp of Clear Wisdom: The Practice of Unelaborate Continuous Yoga' Pages 1-347 The Lamp of Clear Wisdom: The Practice of Unelaborate Continuous Yoga Swasti! Homage to the Lord of the Glorious Padma Raga Mountain, An illusion resembling being surrounded by a garland of doomsday fires. Here, one who is named the Lord of the Enemy of Time, I bow to that one who is inseparable from the supreme guru. The secret treasure of all the Buddhas of the three times, The sustenance from the mouths of a million heroes and dakinis. The path traversed by a thousand siddhas of India and Tibet, Here, I shall explain the practice of the great secret essence. Here, the heart essence of the Shri Yamantaka tantra, the oral instructions of the great yoga master Virupa, which the master Pandita Darpanacharya brought to the land of snows, and which the great translator of G lo bo, Sherab Rinchen, widely propagated, the ultimate completion stage of Shri Red Yamantaka, the yoga that is extremely unelaborate. Those vajra holders who have well received the instructions, desiring to condense this into a continuous practice, should abide in a suitable place on a comfortable seat in the posture of meditation, severing the unnecessary wandering thoughts of the mind, aroused by the thought of renunciation, clearly visualizing the objects of refuge. The verbal recitation is: Pages 1-348 I and all sentient beings as vast as the sky, from this time forth, until reaching the heart of enlightenment, take refuge in the glorious and holy gurus. I take refuge in the perfectly enlightened, blessed Buddhas. I take refuge in the sacred Dharma. I take refuge in the noble Sangha. After reciting this seven times, etc., joining the palms of the hands, I prostrate and take refuge in the guru and the Three Jewels. I beseech you to bless my lineage. Having thus requested, the objects of refuge dissolve into oneself. Leave the mind without grasping, abiding in its natural state. For the sake of all sentient beings, I shall attain the state of perfect enlightenment. For that purpose, I shall practice the profound stages of the path of glorious Red Yamantaka. Generate the mind of enlightenment three times. This is the preliminary practice. The Main Practice First, the speech (practice) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

By reciting 'ཏུ་ཧཱུྃ་', the place where one resides becomes a vajra ground, surrounded by a fence, a tent, and the blazing fire of wisdom, forming a vast and extensive protective wheel. In its center, on a precious throne supported by eight great lions, upon various lotus flowers, suns, red buffaloes, and black Yama's seats, one's kind root guru is invoked by name: the venerable Manjushri Yamantaka, the Bhagavan, glorious Yamari, with a red-colored body, one face, and two arms. The right hand holds aloft a white staff in the manner of subduing the three realms, while the left hand holds a skull cup filled with the blood of all maras, embracing the consort. With fangs bared and tongue curled, possessing three red and round eyes. With wrathful wrinkles, a raised nose, and large and full thighs and chest. The body, limbs, and minor limbs are short and stout. The hair, eyebrows, and beard are reddish-yellow, blazing upwards. Adorned with the eight great nagas and wearing a tiger skin loincloth. With a garland of a hundred and fifty bleeding heads and five dry skulls adorning the head. Possessing the nine moods of dance, terrifying the assembly of Yamas. Seated with the right leg bent and the left leg extended. In his lap is the consort Vajra Ro Langma, with a red-colored body, one face, two arms, and three eyes. Hair disheveled, naked, adorned with the five mudras. The right hand raises a vajra chopper in the sky, while the left hand holds a skull cup filled with blood, embracing the father's neck. Adorned with a crown of five dry human heads and a necklace of fifty dry skulls. The right leg extended and the left leg bent, entwined with the father. Both the father and mother reside in the midst of blazing wisdom fire. From the heart of that holy guru, rays of light emanate, inviting the root and lineage gurus, the yidam mandala deities, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, the Dakinis, Dharma protectors, and the assembly of guardians, along with 'བཛྲ་ས་མཱ་ཛཿ' (Tibetan, वज्रसमाजा, vajrasamāja, Vajra Samaja). Starting from directly above the head of the root guru, on the left side are the lineage gurus, such as the yogi Virupa, adorned with various ornaments, attire, and garments, with their faces turned towards oneself. Visualize them residing in blazing splendor of light. Behind and below them are the mandala deities of the four classes of tantra. Below them are the Buddhas in the form of Nirmanakaya, surrounded by retinues of Bodhisattvas, Shravakas, and Pratyekabuddhas. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
