Regarding dreams: They arise from the waxing and waning of channels and winds, the good and bad intermingling of habitual tendencies, the deities born together with oneself, the obstructing demons that come along, and the magical displays of external gods and spirits, so they are uncertain. However, as temporary signs of good and bad, they appear as interdependent occurrences, so they should be carefully examined. If bad dreams occur, measures such as reversing interdependent occurrences should be taken. Furthermore, the best yogis know that dreams are unreal and understand them as dreams, so there is no need for judgment. The worst yogis take dreams as real and cannot grasp the signs of dreams. Intermediate yogis should carefully examine themselves and others, and apply most of the good and bad signs to their respective situations, analyzing and understanding them. Samaya!
