Please repeat after me this prayer to the great glorious protector: Heruka (藏文：ཧེ་རུ་ཀཿ，梵文天城体：हेरुक，梵文罗马拟音：Heruka，汉语字面意思：Wrathful deity), glorious supreme guru! Lord of the mandala, please listen! For the sake of protecting the sacred teachings, grant me the oath-bound siblings! Repeat three times. For the sake of purifying obscurations and accumulating merit, please repeat after me this confession before the glorious guru and the vast assembly of gathering field: Vajra master, perfect glorious Buddha! Repeat three times. Please visualize these powerful and mighty deities clearly: Om Svabhava (藏文：ཨོཾ་སྭ་བྷཱ་ཝ་，梵文天城体：ॐ स्वभाव，梵文罗马拟音：Om Svabhava，汉语字面意思：Own being) etc. All phenomena of samsara and nirvana, in the clear light essence, are purified into a great vajra protection wheel. In the center, from Pam (藏文：པཾ་，梵文天城体：प，梵文罗马拟音：pam，汉语字面意思：Lotus) arises a lotus, and from Ram (藏文：རཾ་，梵文天城体：रं，梵文罗马拟音：ram，汉语字面意思：Fire) arises a sun disc. Above the sun disc, from Hum (藏文：ཧཱུྃ་，梵文天城体：हुं，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：Seed syllable) arises a vajra, marked with Hum, radiating the light of the five wisdoms, completely transformed into the deity. The disciple visualizes himself as Bhagavan Great Glorious Heruka (藏文：ཧེ་རུ་ཀཿ，梵文天城体：हेरुक，梵文罗马拟音：Heruka，汉语字面意思：Wrathful deity), body color blue-black, with three faces of blue, white, and red, and six arms. The three right hands hold a nine-pronged vajra, a five-pronged vajra, and a three-pronged vajra, respectively. The three left hands hold skull cups filled with blood. The consort is blue, holding a khatvanga and a skull cup, embracing the deity. The four legs are extended to the left, standing on a seat of arrogant male and female. Adorned with charnel ground ornaments, possessing the nine dance poses. Completely pure as the essence of all Tathagatas, residing in a blazing mass of fire at the end of an eon. Marked with three seed syllables at the three places, from which light radiates, inviting the inconceivable wheel of wisdom from the natural abode, inseparable from the visualized deity, and dissolving into the deity. Accompanied by instruments, drums, and incense, recite: Om Vajra Krodha Maha Shri Heruka Hum Phet Maha Krodheshvari Hum Jnana Aveshaya Ah Ah (藏文：ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཀྲོ་དྷ་མ་ཧཱ་ཤྲཱི་ཧེ་རུ་ཀཿཧཱུྃ་ཕཊཿ མ་ཧཱ་ཀྲོ་དྷཱི་ཤྭ་རཱི་ཧཱུྃ། ཛྙཱ་ན་ཨཱ་བཻ་ཤ་ཡ་ཨ་ཨཱཿ), repeat again and again, praying for blessings. Tishta Vajra, make it firm. The actual empowerment is: Visualize the glorious protector siblings in front coming in order, in a joyful manner, becoming harmonious companions. Granting the male protector: Hum! To destroy the evil Rudra, the great supreme black protector, the great glorious one, I entrust you, please accomplish activities and protect the teachings! Om Shri Maha Kala Sarva Samaya Hum Bhya Hum (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཤྲཱི་མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལ་སརྦ་ས་མ་ཡ་ཧཱུྃ་བྷྱོཿཧཱུྃ༔). Granting the mantra protector: Bhya!
