By touching the hearts of the main deity and the retinue of five, their minds are stimulated. From their mouths emanate a garland of mantras. Visualize the mantra dissolving into the syllable Hūṃ at the heart of the disciple, and then recite this mantra three times: Mama Trag Raksha Garuda Hūṃ Phat (藏文：མ་མ་ཏྲག་རཀྴ་ག་རུ་ཌཿཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ྄༔). These are the life empowerments of speech. Visualize the guru appearing as the yidam deity, from whose heart emanate the hand-held kartrika, skull cup, heart, and mirror, dissolving into the disciple's heart, and then let the mind rest in its natural, un fabricated state. Mā is the Mā of the empty dharmadhatu. Mo is the clear and transparent awareness. Vajra is immutable and perfectly accomplished. Wings and eagles are skillful means and wisdom, without separation. The goddess is complete in one's own mind. Phat! Let the mind rest calmly for a moment in a state free from thoughts of the past, present, and future. These are the life empowerments of mind. Thus, the life entrustment of the Vajra Garuda Mother is accomplished. Again, in order to request the subsequent permission of the Dharma Protector Dorje Legpa, the essence of the profound secret heart drop, offer a mandala. Then recite this supplication: Vajra Master, please listen! For the sake of protecting the Buddha's teachings, I beseech you to grant the subsequent permission of the oath-bound Dorje Legpa. Three times or once. In order to purify the lineage, please recite together this concise confession that includes the essential points of accumulation, purification, and increase. I take refuge in the Three Jewels! Three times or repeat the next line twice. The actual practice of the subsequent permission: As the terma text says: 'Entrust the decree with the arrow of support, think of accomplishing all activities, and it will be accomplished by entrusting with vows.' Therefore, the master visualizes himself as the Lord of Secrets, subduing all arrogance, gazing with wrathful eyes at the oath-bound protectors and their retinue in front, and speaking with vajra pride: 'Hūṃ! From the peaceful and wrathful Buddhas to the ogres and demons, all beings have four lives. The life force of the oath-bound ones is in my hands. Today I grant permission to the disciple, do the protectors abide by their oaths?' The protectors reply: 'I will abide by my oaths according to the command of the Vajradhara.' Visualize this, hold the arrow of support, and recite: Hūṃ Hrīḥ Excellent Vajra Thigle Tsal, retinue and obedient messengers, I entrust you to this child as protectors, always strive to make offerings and praises. Oṃ Vajra Sādhu Samaya Siddhi Phala Āveshaya Jaḥ Jaḥ Hoḥ! Retinue of the Thousand Chiefs, the assembly of the Eight Classes of Arrogant Ones, the Messenger Executioner Vulture, and all the emanations and further emanations who abide by the command, I beseech you to extend the life of the Lama Vajra Master, protect the command and teachings of this vow-bound Vajra disciple, increase power and wealth, spread fame and renown, slay the hateful enemies, destroy the harmful obstructors, avert the causes of obstacles, in short, accomplish the four activities of pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, and subjugating without hindrance! Supreme Treasure, Profound and Extensive Jewel Treasury, in order to not decline but flourish and expand, with pure intention and pure faith, dedicate the accumulation of merit to all beings.
