Complete the deficiencies with the hundred-syllable mantra. From the five-fold request, generate Jambhala (god of wealth) as before, complete with the four limbs (perfections). Perform offerings, praises, and recitations as before, and pray to fulfill deficiencies and wishes. From the request to the deity (to merge), visualize it transforming into nectar. During session breaks, if offering water and Torma (food offerings), generate (the deity) in the copper plate as before. Invite the wisdom being and merge it (with the commitment being). Visualize a red Raṃ (Tibetan: རཾ, Devanagari: रं, Romanized Sanskrit: raṃ, seed syllable of fire) at its heart, with the nature of fire. When reciting Raṃ (Tibetan: རཾ, Devanagari: रं, Romanized Sanskrit: raṃ, seed syllable of fire), visualize flames burning, with a slight flame emerging from the mouth, feeling very thirsty and parched. Visualize the moon in your palm, with Bhrūṃ (Tibetan: བྷྲཱུྃ, Devanagari: भ्रूं, Romanized Sanskrit: bhrūṃ, seed syllable), Āṃ (Tibetan: ཨཱཾ, Devanagari: आं, Romanized Sanskrit: āṃ, seed syllable), Jriṃ (Tibetan: ज्रिं, Devanagari: ज्रिं, Romanized Sanskrit: jriṃ, seed syllable), Khaṃ (Tibetan: ཁཾ, Devanagari: खं, Romanized Sanskrit: khaṃ, seed syllable), Hūṃ (Tibetan: हूं, Devanagari: हूं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, seed syllable). From there, wisdom nectar descends, dripping from the fingertips. Offer with the root mantra, pacifying the thirst, feeling pleased, and visualize jewels emerging from the mouth, mongoose (Neule), and wealth deities, bestowing all needs and desires. Recite no less than twenty-one mantras, continuously pouring water. Bless the Torma as before and offer it, visualizing it being consumed by the vajra tongue's tube, feeling pleased and bestowing the desired accomplishments. Perform offerings, praises, and entrustment of activities as before, and visualize jewels dripping from Jambhala's mouth, wealth, and the three mongooses. From the water offered as water offering, take a drop with the thumb and forefinger, place it on the tongue, and recite Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: ओं आः हूं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ āḥ hūṃ, seed syllables of body, speech, and mind) to receive accomplishments. Consume the Torma water together yourself, or give it to those residing in great rivers. Finally, perform thanksgiving offerings, confession, request for forgiveness, sending, gathering, and auspicious recitations. Third, is the ritual of subsequent permission. As described earlier, perform self-generation and front-generation (deity) offerings, etc. Have the disciples bathe and dispel obstacles. During the introduction, (one can say) 'Bodhisattva, Lord of Benefit and Bliss,' or 'Noble Avalokiteśvara, Great Compassionate One,' or 'Noble Jambhala,' who is mentioned in all Sutras and Tantras, and is the chief of all Buddhist wealth deities. There are many traditions of his practice, and here, especially praised in relation to empowerment activities, is the practice called 'Red Jambhala, Attachment Vajra,' which was taken from the treasure of Drapa Ngönshé Wangchuk Bar (a tertön). Introduce it for the purpose of subsequent permission and practice. Offer a mandala, and pray: Vajradhara (name of the deity), please listen! I, for the benefit of beings, sincerely pray to you, please bestow the grace of all subsequent permissions. Recite the prayer three times. Perform a feast offering with a confession like a stream emerging from a cave. Focus on the visualization of the front generation as described in the practice manual. Request the guru... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
