Rinchen Terdzod (The Great Treasury of Termas) TD2477: Chapter on the Blessing and Compassionate Empowerment of the Northern Treasure Fierce Force Heart Practice 61-10-1a ༄༅། །Chapter on the Blessing and Compassionate Empowerment of the Northern Treasure Fierce Force Heart Practice Om Swasti! With the power of the Vajra with a hundred points, Destroying the hordes of demons and Asuras. Supreme deity, Fierce Force, Having paid homage, I cultivate its essence. Here, concerning the blessing and compassionate empowerment related to the practice of Vajra Fierce Force, there are three parts: the preparation of the preliminary materials, the actual method of practice, and the ritual of empowerment. First, the preparation of the preliminary materials: The Mandala (Sanskrit, Maṇḍala) should have complete doors and a center, and can be drawn with colored powders or arranged with clusters of flowers. In the center of the Mandala, on a platform such as a low table, place a painted or three-dimensional image of the Four Activities Accomplishing Protector, a blue 'Hūṃ' (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, meaning: destroyer), a five-colored 'Hūṃ' (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, meaning: destroyer) syllable, a mirror with five red auspicious marks, and both inner and outer offerings, all arranged abundantly. Second, the actual method of practice, beginning with the preliminary refuge and bodhicitta: 'Acting for the benefit of beings with compassion, I take refuge in the venerable Lamas; Inseparably, with one-pointedness, grant blessings, I take refuge in the Yidam deities; Holding the balance of good and bad, granting siddhis, I take refuge in the assembly of Dakinis.' Thus, recite. Confess the sins and obscurations accumulated in the past, Wishing to attain Buddhahood quickly for the benefit of beings, Generate the supreme aspiration of Bodhicitta, In order to fully ripen all sentient beings, Generate the entering Bodhicitta, Practice the profound secret mantra conduct, Realize the ultimate, free from elaboration, Bodhicitta, Meditate on the self-arisen, boundless, empty-clear nature. Thus, generate the mind. Bless the inner and outer offerings as usual. The main practice is as follows: Om Mahā Śūnyatā Jñāna Vajra Svabhāva Ātmako 'Ham! Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, meaning: destroyer) Emptiness, compassion, inseparable, self-aware Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, meaning: destroyer) From that Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, meaning: destroyer) syllable, light radiates, the five elements are stacked in order, From the Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हूँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, meaning: destroyer) syllable, a self-arisen, spontaneously perfect palace arises, In the center, on an uncontaminated lotus, sun, and moon cushion, Upon the seat where Rakshasas and Rudras are trampled, Visualize Mahaguru Vajra Fierce Force, As self-aware, self-arisen, self-manifesting luminosity. Body color dark blue-black, possessing a terrifying appearance, Right hand holding a sky-iron nine-pointed Vajra, Left hand holding a golden bell resting on the hip, Precious bone ornaments, profound Dharma robes, etc., Adorned with the ornaments of Dakinis and oath-bound protectors, Eight great charnel grounds, majestic with nine dances, The body --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'The assembly of deities of speech, mind, qualities, and activities, are all complete in your form. The embodiment of all Sugatas, Vajradrakpo Tsal (Wrathful Vajra Power), stands with feet in a majestic posture.' Thus, by uttering 'Hum Hum' oneself, in an instant, the complete recollection arises as Mahaguru Padmasambhava Vajradrakpo Tsal, manifesting in a terrifying aspect. His speech proclaims a fierce roar, his mind possesses wrathful intensity, and he dwells in a posture of majesty and playfulness. His right hand holds aloft a nine-pointed vajra of meteoric iron in the sky, while his left hand rests a golden bell against his hip, adorned with six bone ornaments, a jeweled crown, and serpent adornments. He possesses nine wrathful and majestic dances, his three eyes gaze like the swirling sun and moon, his teeth gleam like a mountain of snow, his beard blazes like the fire at the end of time, and from his mouth emanates the sound of 'Hum'. He wears a dark maroon silk cloak and is adorned with the eight charnel ground ornaments. His two feet stand in a majestic posture, trampling upon a male and female Rakshasa demon on a sun and moon disc, amidst a blazing fire like the fire at the end of an eon, he stands majestically, possessing the nature of subduing the three realms and overwhelming the three existences. Having visualized this clearly, invite: 'Hum! In the first aeon of the past, in the land of Orgyen... (after the seven-line prayer). Hum! On the island in Lake Dhanakosha, when you engaged in fierce asceticism, all the Buddhas bestowed empowerment, and you gathered all the Dakinis under your control. You sport with Vajravarahi as your consort, employ the eight classes of gods and demons as servants, and liberate all demons and heretics, your secret name is Vajradrakpo Tsal. Assembly of Vajra Rakshasa deities, I invite you to come to this place!' Invite with 'Guru Deva Dakini Vajra Samaya Jah'. Offer outer and inner offerings, medicine, alcohol, torma, etc., according to the appropriate rituals. 'Hum! Unchanging in birth and death, all activities are complete, with self-arisen compassion, you liberate beings from the six realms, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, you shower down the rain of accomplishments, I prostrate and praise Vajradrakpo Tsal!' Thus praise. By reciting three hundred and twenty-one times, 'Generate the blessings and power of empowerment,' in this way, recite the three-syllable 'Hum' mantra three hundred and twenty-one times as a border, and also perform the tsok offering and the offering to the Dharma protectors. Third, the ritual of empowerment: possessing the arrangement of offerings as described before, the method of practice and torma... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
