Rinchen Terdzod (The Great Treasury of Termas) TD2456 From the Lama Gongpa Duspa (The Guru's Intention Embodied), the Ritual for Bestowing the Empowerment of the Pusti (Increase) Transmission. The Empowerment of the Pusti Transmission of Gongpa Duspa. Sangling. From the Lama Gongpa Duspa, the Ritual for Bestowing the Empowerment of the Pusti Transmission. From the Lama Gongpa Duspa, the Ritual for Bestowing the Empowerment of the Pusti Transmission. Namo Guru Deva Dakini Hum! For those fortunate individuals who aspire to practice the Dharma of both outer and inner vehicles, if they encounter the scriptures but do not have a qualified teacher, they should recite: 'All phenomena arise according to conditions, Abiding at the peak of aspiration.' Therefore, without any wrong intentions, and with the altruistic motivation of Bodhicitta, generate strong faith and longing, and receive the Pusti Transmission Empowerment. On special occasions such as the 8th, 15th, or 23rd days of the lunar month, or during the festivals commemorating the Blessed One, arrange a blessed image of the Buddha Shakyamuni. To its right, place the scripture to be transmitted. To its left, if there is a virtuous Sangha of fully ordained monks, invite them to be seated. If not, visualize them as described below. In front of them, arrange pure offerings such as water, flowers, incense, light, perfumed water, food, music, and a mandala. Then, whether alone or with others present, wash your hands, face, and so on with clean water, purify with incense, prostrate before the sacred image, kneel down, and with reverence, take refuge, generate Bodhicitta, and perform the elaborate Seven-Branch Prayer and other Dharma practices. Also, perform the elaborate offering and mandala rituals as described in other texts. Then, in an instant, visualize the image of the Buddha as the Blessed One, the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni, with a body the color of pure gold, radiant and free from impurities, adorned with marks and signs, wearing saffron-colored monastic robes, with a protuberance on his crown, his hands in the gesture of teaching the Dharma, seated in the vajra posture on a throne made of various jewels, supported by eight lions. To his right are all the sacred scriptures, and to his left is the Sangha. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the presence of all the noble assemblies, visualize the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Lamas, Yidams, Dakinis of the ten directions and three times, along with the Dharma protectors, Damchen, and guardian deities, all surrounding the snow mountain like a dense cloud; invite the actual manifestations from their respective abodes and merge them with your mind. Visualize the Teacher and his retinue manifestly present, turning the wheel of Dharma for all sentient beings including myself; especially visualize the object of focus, the Dharma itself, being spoken in the pure voice of Brahma, with all the letters flowing forth from your own heart like a stream and dissolving into it; after prostrating, place the scripture on the crown of your head, visualizing the scripture itself as the Great Mother, with a golden-yellow body, one face, and four arms, the first right hand holding a vajra, the first left hand holding a scripture, and the lower two hands in meditative equipoise, adorned with countless marks and signs; 'Ineffable, inconceivable, inexpressible Prajnaparamita, unborn and unceasing, whose nature is like space, the sphere of activity of self-aware wisdom, I prostrate and praise the mother of the Buddhas of the three times!' 'Whose body is like gold, adorned with marks and signs, whose emanation form is the protector of all beings, with great compassion and skillful means, destroying the fierce armies of demons, I prostrate and praise the Teacher born into the Shakya clan!' 'The supreme lamp that dispels the darkness of ignorance, the eighty-four thousand sections of the sacred teachings, initially virtuous, in the middle virtuous, and ultimately virtuous, step by step, I prostrate and praise the sacred Dharma!' 'According to the Teacher's teachings, the sacred Dharma, abiding in this way, clarifying the words and phrases, for the sake of practicing the profound meaning of compassion, I pray for the blessings of the Three Jewels!' Recite three times: 'Tadyatha, Om Muni Muni Maha Muni, Shakyamunaye, Sarva Dharma Mama Zitta, Svabhava Abhisincha Mam, Sarva Dharma Abhava, Svabhava Siddhi Svaha!' Finally, the Great Mother, the Teacher Bhagavan and his retinue, the sacred Dharma, the noble Sangha, and all others dissolve into your own body, speech, and mind, and your own self becomes like a rainbow dissolving into space; visualize all phenomena encompassed by samsara and nirvana as initially unborn, not abiding in the middle, and not ceasing in the end, resting in the expanse free from all conceptual elaborations. In this way, whatever Dharma of the outer or inner vehicle, it is as if one has received the teachings directly from the Teacher, becoming the sphere of activity for one's own practice, and being able to freely understand its meaning. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
