Generate the mind in the supreme of great Bodhi (Bodhicitta). In the sky in front of oneself, visualize Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra), surrounded by countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Gather all the merits of the four continents and offer the mandala. On the crown of one's head, visualize Vajrasattva, with a white body. The two hands hold a vajra and a bell in an embracing gesture. From his body, a stream of nectar descends, filling the entire body, and all sins and obscurations disappear like black smoke. Finally, Vajrasattva dissolves into oneself, and oneself is Vajrasattva. In the sky directly in front of oneself, visualize the glorious Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra), surrounded by countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, abiding there. Think: I will gather all the merits and virtues, including Mount Meru, the four continents, and the eight subcontinents, and offer them as a mandala to Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra) in front, who is surrounded by countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. On the crown of one's head, visualize Vajrasattva, with a very white body. His two hands hold a vajra and a bell in an embracing gesture. From his body, a stream of white and continuous nectar descends, filling one's entire body, and all sins and obscurations disappear like black smoke. Finally, Vajrasattva dissolves into oneself, and one transforms into Vajrasattva. On the crown of one's head, visualize Padmasambhava, thinking that all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas are gathered there. His appearance is Padmasambhava, but his essence is the root guru. By praying to him with one-pointed devotion, finally, they all dissolve into oneself. On the crown of one's head, visualize Orgyen Guru Padmasambhava, thinking that he abides as the essence of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. His appearance is Padmasambhava, but his essence is one's own root guru. By praying to him with one-pointed devotion, finally, think that all those generated dissolve into oneself. Even if one places a statue or a piece of wood or stone in front of oneself, one can still practice in this way: visualize the deity in front of oneself, and make one's own consciousness revolve around it. Try to keep one's mind in that state as much as possible. Abiding is stillness, slight movement is movement. Knowing both of these with the mind is awareness. Abiding is Dharmakaya, awareness is Sambhogakaya, and movement is Nirmanakaya. Even if one places a statue of the Buddha, whether it is a golden statue of Shakyamuni Buddha, or a lotus, or a stick, a stone, or anything else in front of oneself, one can still practice in this way: visualize the deity as Shakyamuni Buddha, Vajrasattva, Kuntuzangpo, or Vajradhara, or any other, and make one's own consciousness revolve around it. Then, try to keep one's mind in that state as much as possible. Still abiding is abiding, and slight movement is movement. Knowing both of these with the mind is awareness. Abiding is Dharmakaya, awareness is Sambhogakaya, and movement is Nirmanakaya. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
