Great Treasure Trove TD2205, The practice of the secret instruction on subduing beings and spreading the teachings based on Sa-tsa (Sanskrit: Sa-tsa, 擦擦), like the melodious sound of spring. The ritual of flourishing activities, the ritual of Sa-tsa. Homage to the Guru, the King of the Shakyas (Shakyamuni Buddha), and Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) who is unparalleled in kindness! After respectfully bowing, I will elucidate the simple yet profound secret instructions. This is extracted from the profound terma of the emanation tertön Orgyen Leydro Lingpa, the oral instruction on how to bring all sentient beings into the gate of the sacred Dharma, the method of practice in three parts: Preliminary: Making Sa-tsa; Main practice: The method of accomplishing it; Concluding: How to proceed. Firstly, regarding the preliminary, the root text states: 'If a yogi wishes to bring a region and its people into the Dharma, write this mantra on paper: Om Muni Muni Maha Muni Ye Svaha! Manu Kali Sarva Dharma Vasham Kuru Ye Svaha!' Then write the aspiration: 'May the names of the local leaders, Khenpos (Doctor of Buddhist Philosophy), men, women, children, etc. of this place be written and be under my control!' Place the written paper into twenty-one red Sa-tsas, which should be done in an auspicious place. To put these teachings into practice, choose an auspicious date and time, take soil from an auspicious place, prepare the clay, and then proceed according to the general Sa-tsa ritual. Mix auspicious blessed earth from sacred sites, various medicines, and precious powders into the clay to make twenty-one decorated Sa-tsas. Write the above mantra and aspiration on paper with vermillion or ink, and if there are special wishes, include their names. Generally, one can write: 'May all sentient beings of this region, including local leaders, Khenpos, men, women, children, etc., be in harmony with the sacred Dharma and be under my control!' Apply fragrant incense and Dharma medicine, wrap it well with a life-sustaining wood, and wrap it in red or yellow silk, placing it without inverting it. From the outside, change the color to red with vermillion or red lead. Perform purification and consecration, choosing elaborate or concise rituals as appropriate. In a clean place, spread flowers on a clean altar, and then place the Sa-tsas. Finally, arrange common offerings, especially incense, lamps, and food, making the offerings clean and abundant. Secondly, regarding the main practice, first take refuge, generate bodhicitta, practice the four immeasurables, and then visualize oneself. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Whatever generation stage practice of Great Compassion is undertaken, it should be preceded by recitation until completion. The method of blessing the place and implements is: By the power of the truth of the Three Jewels, and the blessings of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the great power of the complete accumulation of the two accumulations, and the inconceivable power of the Dharma realm's naturally pure essence, may this surrounding ground today, like the arrangement of the Sukhavati (Pure Land of Amitabha), be adorned with all the ornaments of perfect splendor, becoming beautiful and desirable, beyond comprehension. May the ground everywhere be free from gravel and the like, as smooth as the palm of the hand, and become a soft place of the nature of Vaiḍūrya. In these perfect pure lands, may the pure and pleasing offerings enjoyed by gods and humans, such as forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and textures, transform into inconceivable clouds of offerings, filling the entire expanse of the sky. Furthermore, may the delightful musical offerings and the clouds that dispel the suffering of sentient beings each abide here separately. oṃ sarva vitpūra pūra sura sura āvartaya āvartaya hoḥ namaḥ sarva tathāgatebhyo biśva mukhebhyah sarva thā khaṃ udgate spharaṇa imaṃ gagana khaṃ svāhā (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་སརྦ་བིཏྤཱུ་ར་པཱུ་ར་སུ་ར་སུ་ར་ཨཱ་ཝརྟ་ཡ་ཨཱ་ཝརྟ་ཡ་ཧོཿ ན་མཿསརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏེ་བྷྱོ་བི་ཤྭ་མུ་ཁེ་བྷྱཿསརྦ་ཐཱ་ཁཾ་ཨུཏྒ་ཏེ་སྥ་ར་ཎ་ཨི་མཾ་ག་ག་ན་ཁཾ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ sarva vitpūra pūra sura sura āvartaya āvartaya hoḥ namaḥ sarva tathāgatebhyo biśva mukhebhyah sarva thā khaṃ udgate spharaṇa imaṃ gagana khaṃ svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, everything, fill, fill, good, good, transform, transform, ho. Homage to all Tathagatas, all faces, everything from space arises, spread this space, svāhā.) The method of generating the front support is: Purify through emptiness of inherent existence. From emptiness, visualize a throne supported by eight lions, covered with divine cloths. On top of that is a lotus and sun-moon cushion, on which is a yellow Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: seed syllable) syllable, emitting light, offering to the noble ones, benefiting sentient beings. The light gathers back and transforms into the form of the Sage King (Shakyamuni Buddha): the color of his body is like refined gold, with one face and two arms, making the gesture of teaching the Dharma, sitting in the vajra posture. He has the appearance of a celibate, complete with the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks, wearing the three Dharma robes, and radiating immeasurable light. At his forehead is Oṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: seed syllable), at his throat is Āḥ (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: seed syllable), and at his heart is Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: seed syllable). From the Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: seed syllable) syllable, light radiates, inviting the Sage King (Shakyamuni Buddha) and the ocean of victorious ones, along with the assembly of Bodhisattvas. Vajra samājaḥ (Sanskrit: vajra samājaḥ, meaning Diamond Being). The invitation verse: You are the protector of all sentient beings, destroying the armies of demons and their retinues, knowing all things as they are, I request the Bhagavan (Blessed One) and his retinue to come to this place. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
