Great Treasure Trove TD2181: Rain Invocation Essential, Profound, and Easy, Ambrosial Great Cloud Abides. Activities for the Flourishing of Crops, Rain Invocation. Homage to the Great Compassionate One! The essential rain invocation, profound and easy, is as follows: Grind clean, raw barley into flour, and mix in as many Naga medicines and herbs as can be found. If it is summer, mix in as many non-toxic flowers as can be found. If you can find milk from a white cow or a white goat, or from a red cow or a piebald cow, that is best. If not, mix in as much milk as you can find. Dry it in the shade. Recite ‘Om Mani Padme Hum. In the evening, visualize yourself as Senge Dongma (Lion-faced Dakini), with all the evil spirits that obstruct wind and rain under your feet, visualizing them sinking nine levels under the earth like a needle piercing the ground. Recite the mantra of Senge Dongma and clap your hands. After the rain falls, offer white torma as thanks. Visualize yourself as Chenrezig Kharsapani, with nectar-like milk flowing like a great river from your hands that fill the sky. All the Nagas and Shidaks bathe in and drink this water, and their respective diseases and sufferings are pacified, happiness, radiance, and prosperity are complete, and they joyfully recite the six-syllable mantra (Om Mani Padme Hum) and return to their abodes. For the benefit of Togden Sangye Dargye and the Ten Powers, etc., the profound and meaningful Titi Ka ritual, as spoken by Raga Asya himself, written by O'kro Gelong Shri, may it bring immeasurable benefits! Aspiration of the Power of Truth for Rain, Summarizing the Meaning of the Great Cloud Sutra. I take refuge in the Three Jewels! May all sentient beings of the six realms, especially the Nagas and earth lords, have all their sufferings cease and possess all happiness, and for the sake of timely rain, good harvests, and world peace, I will pray for great rain to fall. Arising from the types of clouds, possessing the blessing and majestic splendor, the essence, emanation, manifester, stream of water of the wisdom crest, possessing the glory of the mandala of clouds, manifesting golden rays, arising from a single tip of a hair, their origin and lineage, I pay homage to the Tathagatas! Bhagavan, Supreme Tathagata, possessor of the essence of perfect manifestation, I pay homage to the Great Cloud! I pay homage to the Sugata, born from the Naga race, adorned with clouds! I pay homage to the Buddha Cloud Water Store and the glorious splendor of the clouds! Homage, offering, refuge! I pay homage to the Buddha Great Cloud Arising and the Wind Mandala Destroying Cloud!
