Activities of Increase: Elephant Strength. ༄༅། །The Empowerment Wheel of Increasing Merit and Strength. ༄༅༔ The Empowerment Wheel of Increasing Merit and Strength. Maha Guru, Namo! Establish all appearances and existence in stability, gather gods, demons, and humans under your control, possess the vajra body without birth or death, the sole friend of all beings. To Orgyen Padmasambhava, King Trisong Detsen respectfully prostrates and supplicates: 'Guru Rinpoche, in governing the kingdom according to Dharma, without limit, subdue all, and a teaching that blazes like fire with merit, as precious as the heart's essence, the most secret of secrets. I beseech you to grant it to me without fail!' Having requested, Guru Rinpoche remained in samadhi for a moment, and then spoke this instruction: 'Ema, Trisong Detsen, listen! To subdue the border kings and to bring the unsubmissive under control, many scattered instructions have been spoken. This is like the essence of blood from the citta. If shown to others, the kingdom will be disturbed. Therefore, keep it very secret, child!' Samaya! 'This wheel of merit and strength, whether drawn on cloth, silk, or paper, make a wheel with four circumferences. In the center, write: 'Buddha Dakini, increase my merit and strength!' And, Buddha Dakini, may you gather all the food, wealth, and enjoyment of gods, demons, and humans possessed by me and my retinue, and increase power, merit, strength, and wealth!' Write this in a ring. On the second circumference, write: 'Om Gabuna He, Dhadina He, He Kha Haya, Dhupa Atsé! May the holder of this wheel gather the food and wealth of the three realms, and increase life, glory, merit, and power!'
