Great Treasure TD2037, the longevity practice that combines the teachings, terma, and pure vision lineages of Karma, is an extremely close transmission of practice rituals and empowerment methods. Longevity practice, the essence of essence, power empowerment. Homage to the non-dual accomplished master and the great Guru Padmasambhava! This is the extraordinary practice note of the longevity practice personally bestowed by the accomplished master in pure vision: Visualize yourself as any deity such as Hayagriva. In the sky in front, visualize a sky-iron vajra: An unchanging five-pronged vajra blazing with flames. In the center is the accomplished master Thangtong Gyalpo, appearing as a hundred-year-old elder, with white hair, beard, and mustache, and three eyes burning with red and black light. He wears immaculate silk robes, sits in the vajra posture, holds a longevity vase in the mudra of meditation. Above his head sits Amitabha Buddha. At his throat is Hayagriva, the wrathful king blazing with flames. At his heart is Padmasambhava, appearing with red and white radiance. Visualize these clearly (as clear as images appearing in a mirror). In order to dispel untimely death and other obstacles and calamities, and in order to achieve the long-life, immutable vajra body, offer your body, speech, and mind to the accomplished master in front. Generate a devout heart and pray thus: Hrīḥ Hrīḥ Hrīḥ! Amitabha cares for all beings, bestowing immortality upon beings, Hayagriva subdues the obstacles of sentient beings, Padmasambhava is the protector of beings in the degenerate age, Thangtong Gyalpo, I pray to you, my prayer will not be in vain. Please dispel adverse conditions and obstacles, please bless me, grant me the immortal accomplishment. Pray thus three times, and from the body of the accomplished master and the deities in the three places, rays of light radiate. My life force, vitality, scattered fortune, as well as the obstacles of the eight classes of gods and demons, the essence of earth, water, fire, and wind, the lifespan and merit of beings, and the compassion of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, all gather into the light of immortal nectar, like honey. It dissolves into the vase, overflowing from the mouth.
