Then, visualize yourself entering the clear face of the deity, visualize the red Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, literal meaning: seed syllable) in the heart surrounded by mantras arranged clockwise, and repeat after me. Recite the root mantra three times. May all the blessings of the power, might, and ability of the fierce Guru Hayagriva blazing with fire enter these Vajra disciples, so that all activities may be accomplished without hindrance! Recite the vowels and consonants, and scatter flowers. Visualize the Dharmapala fierce Guru Hayagriva blazing with fire appearing vividly, descending upon the crown of your head. From all parts of the deity's body, countless blessings and rays of light emanate. Eliminate all your diseases, evil spirits, sins, and obstacles. May the blessings of great wisdom enter your mindstream! Place the Dharmapala image on your head and recite: Oṃ Āḥ Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम् आः हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ āḥ hūṃ, literal meaning: body, speech, and mind). Dharmakaya Samantabhadra and Samantabhadri, Sambhogakaya Vajrasattva, Nirmanakaya Garab Dorje (प्रथम गुरु, Sanskrit Romanization: Gharab Dorje, literal meaning: First Teacher), Guru Padmasambhava, Dakini Yeshe Tsogyal, Twenty-Five Accomplished Disciples, Omniscient Vimalamitra, Longchen Rabjam, Jigme Gyalwai Nyugu, Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo, and all the root and lineage Gurus, please bless! May the deities, dakinis, Dharmapalas, and oath-bound protectors, including the fierce Guru Hayagriva blazing with fire, bless you! May all obstacles and hindrances of body, speech, and mind be pacified, and may you obtain all the supreme and common accomplishments without exception. Please grant your blessings! Recite the Thotreng Tsal (secret mantra) and the root mantra, scatter flowers, and consolidate with auspicious words and auspicious substances. Therefore, the ripening empowerment of the fierce Guru Hayagriva blazing with fire is accomplished according to the heart essence blessings of the lineage. Afterwards, keep the samaya according to the usual post-empowerment rituals. The third part is the subsequent practice: If you wish to elaborate, you can perform a Ganachakra and so on according to the Vidyadhara practice manual, combining fulfillment and confession. The Dharmapala offering is also combined with invitation and distribution. If you wish to be brief, then perform thanksgiving praise, confession of faults, absorption and sublimation, dedication and aspiration, and auspicious prayers to complete it. May the arrow of afflictions be burned by the fire of wisdom! May the heat of external demons be destroyed by the hail of power! May all beings attain the indivisible three secrets of the Guru fierce deity, and accomplish the body of great bliss Vajra!
