Your left hand rests in meditative equipoise, holding a bowl filled with nectar. Out of your great compassion for all sentient beings, I prostrate to you, Lama Medicine Buddha! For phlegm sticking to the throat and other phlegm-related ailments, such as throat swelling, incorrect oral medication (three types), drooping, spreading, and overflowing (six types), twisting, sticking, and stretching, as well as rashes, hailstone-like boils, and piercing pains that twist the throat, fainting, black and white distinctions, swelling (fifteen types), and male, female, and hermaphrodite (eighteen types), the diagnosis of these diseases should be understood elsewhere. Generally, they can be categorized into hot and cold types. Wise individuals should examine them in detail. These are the treatment procedures: treat hot blockages with hot medicines and cold blockages with cold medicines, each according to the scriptures. First, if vomiting is needed, add aconite, radish, and Nalesham to the previous medicine.
