46-3-3b Although the Terma itself is widely known for its continuous blessings, it does not contain the tradition of maturing empowerments. Later, Rigdzin Tamdrin Wangi Gyalpo (Hayagriva, the King of Power), who shares the same mindstream as this (Avalokiteśvara practice), extracted this practice from the profound Mind Terma of Nüden Drakpo Tsal (the Powerful Wrathful Accomplisher). For those who practice this, it bestows certainty of faith and blessings. To accomplish this profound maturing empowerment, begin by offering a mandala, etc. Join your palms together, holding flowers, and repeat this supplication after me: Omniscient holder of the treasury of wisdom, The treasure of the noble compassion, Please bestow your blessings and grace! (Recite three times) In the presence of the supreme Arya Chenrezig (Avalokiteśvara), the Lord, inseparable from the Lama, and all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, first perform confession and take refuge in the Three Jewels. Then, repeat after me the generation of the supreme Bodhicitta: I take refuge in the Three Jewels! (Recite three times) Next is the main practice, where the empowerments of Body, Speech, Mind, and Wisdom Vajra are conferred in sequence. First, to request the Body empowerment, repeat this supplication after me: The Body, the nature of all Buddhas, May the Vajra Master grant me, The blessing and empowerment of the Body, Of Avalokiteśvara! Then, visualize yourself as the Samaya Being and merge with the Wisdom Being. Recite according to the Terma text: 'All dharmas are unattainable,' etc. Invite the Wisdom Being, merge without separation. While visualizing, wave incense, ring the bell, and play the ḍamaru, adding at the end of the heart mantra: Vajra Aveshaya Ah Ah (Tibetan: བཛྲ་ཨཱ་བེ་ཤ་ཡ་ཨ་ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वज्र आवेशय आ आः, Sanskrit Romanization: vajra āveśaya ā āḥ, Vajra Enter Ah Ah), bestowing blessings. Stabilize with 'Tishta Vajra' (Tibetan: ཏིཥྛ་བཛྲ, Sanskrit Devanagari: तिष्ठ वज्र, Sanskrit Romanization: tiṣṭha vajra, Remain Vajra). Visualize rays of light emanating from the heart of the Guru, inviting the empowerment deities filling the sky, who, with auspicious forms, hold precious vases filled with nectar, granting you empowerment. Holding the vase, recite: In the palace of the auspicious vase, Resides the assembly of Avalokiteśvara. Today, by bestowing this empowerment upon you, May you accomplish the body of the Noble One! Recite the root mantra and: Kaya Abhisincha Om (Tibetan: ཀཱ་ཡ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: काय अभिषिञ्च ओम, Sanskrit Romanization: kāya abhiṣiñca oṃ, Body Empower Om). Thus, you receive the Body Vase Empowerment. The impurities and habitual tendencies of the body are purified, you have the authority to visualize the empty-form deity body, and the seed for attaining the Nirmanakaya fruit is planted in your mindstream. 46-3-4a The Body, the nature of all Buddhas, May the Vajra Master grant me, The blessing and empowerment of the Body, Of Avalokiteśvara!
