Da Bao Fu Zang TD1834 'The Root of the Oral Transmission of the Poison Power Vajrakilaia, a Treasure Trove from the Emanation of the Vidyadhara Garuda' Practice of Protective Activities Poison Power The Root of the Oral Transmission of the Poison Power Vajrakilaia, a Treasure Trove from the Emanation of the Vidyadhara Garuda A Simplified and Easy-to-Understand Compilation of the Practice of Poison Power Vajrakilaia The Root of the Oral Transmission of the Poison Power Vajrakilaia, a Treasure Trove from the Emanation of the Vidyadhara Garuda Homage to the Lotus Feet of the Supreme Guru! Now, I shall write down the steps for taking into practice the empowerment ritual called 'Poison Power Vajrakilaia'. It is divided into five parts: first, the benefits; second, administering medicine; third, receiving offerings; fourth, the actual ritual; and fifth, the empowerment. Firstly, after obtaining the empowerment like Vajrakilaia, one should practice fearlessly like the Peacock King. It can overcome all poisons, including mixed poisons combined with precious substances, as well as single poisons, potent poisons, black poisons, meat poisons, and food poisons. It can destroy epidemics, swellings, boils, leprosy, and all kinds of infectious diseases. This is the king of protection against all plagues and contagious diseases. Relying on this, leprosy can be eradicated. It can cause earth deities, nagas, demons, plague spirits, kings, and malevolent spirits, as well as beings harboring malice, to see you as a poisonous tree. It can cut off curses, suppressions, and tree spirits. It can cut off stone spirits, earth deities, and nocturnal wanderers. In terrifying places such as carrying corpses, one can act like a fearless lion. It is an army that repels obstacles, a link that continues precious life, and a nectar that cures epidemics. Especially, it can destroy meat poisons. Because other methods do not have this benefit, cherish and uphold it to benefit beings. Secondly, administering medicine: administering poison to cure diseases. For heart imbalances, indigestion, and cold diseases, taking a small amount of poison can eliminate them. After receiving this empowerment, remember the time, implements, guru, mandala, vase, etc., take meat in your hand, and eat it while remembering them. Visualize giving meat to others and offering it, thereby overcoming meat poisons. Only after receiving the Poison Power empowerment three times can one give it to others effectively; otherwise, it is ineffective. Receiving the empowerment only once can only protect oneself and cannot benefit others. Thirdly, receiving offerings for the empowerment: if the Dharma Lord is pleased, blessings will descend. If the guru is not pleased, the blessings are as nonexistent as a rabbit's horn. Without offerings, the head will shatter, so one should strive to make offerings. Fourthly, the actual ritual is divided into two: first, implements; second, generation. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now, the second part: The first part is, the teacher faces south, and the disciple faces north. In front, place an unblemished white cloth, on top of which place a triangle with its apex pointing south. In the center of the triangle, at the apex pointing south, pour peas. At the apex pointing south, place the statue of Gulang. At the northwest apex, place an arrow. At the northeast apex, place the statue of Maheshvara (Great Lord). In the center, place a vase half-filled with water, into which pour fragrant water and milk. Place a precious vessel inside it, containing gold, great medicine, and peacock feathers. Place all of these in the precious vessel. Three tormas (ritual cakes) adorned with white and red, and whatever gathering offerings are available. Triangular shoshbu (food offerings) adorned with white and red. Place a white sheep's shoulder blade to the north, with the hip bone to the east and what looks like a peak to the west. Furthermore, gather whatever food items are available. All of these can be accomplished through blessing. The second part is the generation stage: The teacher meditates as Maheshvara (Great Lord). Grasp the vase's string with the hand. Recite: 'Hasa hasa, kili hasa, shotri pho pheng, tzena tzada dasha dasha,' repeating 'hasa hasa' over and over. Hūṃ! Recite one hundred and one times, visualizing the water in the vase transforming into nectar. Then, desiring to drink it: Visualize the father of existence, Maheshvara (Great Lord), formed from wrathful water, holding a trident (trishula), using it to break the vase, desiring the nectar. The heretic Shri Ralpa Can, holding an iron bow and arrow in his hand, shoots an arrow outward from half of the vase, desiring the nectar. The black Gulang, made of iron, pierces a hole with its horn, desiring the nectar. The fifth part is: The disciple should not prostrate to the teacher more than three times. Offer whatever offerings are available. Most importantly, plead: 'Through your kindness, please grant me the empowerment of deathless accomplishment!' Then, the teacher purifies the three tormas (ritual cakes), adding the root mantra and shamburvalimta, offering them to Maheshvara (Great Lord), Gulang, and Shri Ralpa Can, and entrusting them to protect these sons of lineage from poison. Then, the teacher says: 'Noble son of lineage, born from lineage, in order to grant you the empowerment of deathless accomplishment, do not speak of this method to others. If you tell others, your head will split.' Recite the above three mantras, sprinkling wine on the disciple. The teacher points the left hand's thumb and forefinger southward, pointing the threatening mudra, and the disciple points the threatening mudra upward, holding the mala (rosary) in between. Repeat the above mantras: Harmony between the teacher and disciple is essential; if there is disharmony, it needs to be repeated. The teacher's mala... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
