Let it rot and decompose. The sea of poison is to collect all the poisons that can be found, pour them into a yak horn, and seal the mouth so that the smell does not leak out. The method of preparation is to choose an auspicious constellation day, and in a good skull, pour in the rotten flesh mixture mentioned above. Then, pour all the poisonous blood into it, stir with a peg, and proceed according to the method of samadhi. Recite mantras and practice for seven, five, or three days. Then, pour it into the treated horn, it is important not to let the gas leak. Moreover, the rotting power of blood is strong, and the fresh power of poison is strong. In the strengthening treatment of the medicine, peacock feathers, aconite, gentian, pig manure, and Chinese grease are needed. One annotation mentions wolf dung. Mix these black powders with thick barley wine, take one dose at a time, and pour it into the horn. This strengthening treatment of the medicine is very profound, it is the king of all protections, and its merits are inconceivable.ཨྠྀི་། (Tibetan) For a student like you who is capable and as important as my heart, if I need to forcibly transmit the initiation, mantra, and teachings, then, offer a mandala and flowers, and pray like this: 'Namo, may the Guru hear! In order to promote the Buddha's teachings and to benefit all sentient beings, please transmit the initiation and teachings of the protective poison blood medicine.' The Guru, with the vajra mudra, places the supreme medicine in your heart, diligently practice according to the ritual, hide it in your heart, and keep it secret from everyone. If it is transmitted to those without vows, the blessings and vows will be lost. Therefore, be sure to keep it secret!' Recite the essence of body, speech, and mind, and the essence of the root mantra. This is the sealed teaching after the medicine initiation. ཨྠྀི་། (Tibetan) The secret hidden horn amulet mantra is a terma of Guru Rinpoche. Namo Guru! Alas! Great ruler, at the end of the degenerate age, sentient beings are plagued by diseases and have short lives, there are many kinds of diseases, and countless infectious diseases. The methods of treatment are also widely spread. Although there are many methods of protection, the most profound special methods are three: poison blood mixture, medicine, and pills. Even if there are many kinds of diseases, they should be targeted at uncontrollable infectious diseases. For those diseases that are contagious, conflicting, and severely contagious, the treatment is very difficult. Whichever protective antidote is used, these diseases will not be contagious. It can also destroy fierce and sharp demons.
