'Taking the meaning of certainty as the root, arranging various symbols as a Torma (Tibetan: མདོས, a sacrificial offering), is to realize the nature of the formless. Search for all the discriminating thoughts that cling to forms, and abide in the meaning of the formless.' With these words, offer the Torma. Then comes the protection: With the power of the self-nature Torma, and the poisonous rays of all demons, united with the Torma's envoys and curses, threaten the enemies who hate me. Then comes the instruction of the Torma's path: To those who hate me, show them the devouring mouth, transfer the malice and the poison of contact there, transform the poison of gods and demons into non-poison. ཀྱཻ༔ (Tibetan)! Now, in this supreme sacred place, the footsteps of the mantra-holding king have arrived. Because of the desire to establish the king's palace, demons are not allowed to cause trouble here.' Thus, send them away. Cut off the return path: ཀྱཻ༔ (Tibetan)! This place has been blessed by the mantra practitioners, it has been blessed as the mandala of the Yidam. Like the realm of the Buddhas, it is a place of wisdom. Therefore, assembly of demons, stop causing trouble! After defeating the ghosts, praise the gods: ཀྱཻ༔ (Tibetan)! With the great truth of the mantra, make the gods and demons happy, turn enemies into friends, satisfy everything with the abundance of the Torma, now overcome obstacles and demonic hindrances. Summoning life force: ཀྱཻ༔ (Tibetan)! Now, with the power of overcoming demonic hindrances, be free from calamities, and perfect the desired qualities. Summon all the life force of worldly peace, samsara, and nirvana, into the fortune and life radiance of the benefactor.'
