Great Treasure Trove TD1732: The Extremely Potent Mamo Blood Offering Ritual. Various Activities, Blood Offering. Homage to Glorious Heruka! For the yogi who practices Mamo: When Mamo is afflicting, when the enemy's food and clothing are mixed in, as a reward after subduing the enemy, to cut off human and livestock diseases, to curse the enemy, etc., this blood offering ritual is indispensable in any situation. Therefore, there are three main points: First, accumulating the offerings; second, inviting; and third, entrusting and cursing the enemy. First, regarding the preparation of offerings: Create a mandala on the ground, with a house with a spire in its center. Place the Mamo image in the center of the house. Four arrows, four banners, four sky-hanging banners. In the four directions, each has a Mamo riding different animals: bird, dog, mule, black sheep, black yak. Four black containers carrying diseases. Women holding lamps, one in each direction. Cover the top with a tent with masks. On the mandala, place peacock feathers, the heart of a bulrush, the smoke of incense and great offerings, lamps of great grease, blood-food torma. Arrange the nectar, blood, and other offerings well. Then, bless the torma with the three syllables (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Chinese meaning): Oṃ (ཨོཾ, ॐ, oṃ, 唵), Āḥ (ཨཱཿ, आः, āḥ, 啊), Hūṃ (ཧཱུྃ, हुं, hūṃ, 吽), transforming it into immeasurable offerings that please Mamo. The red earth walls are free from dust, the red earth corners are sharp, snakes cannot coil around them. This red earth palace is built of blackish-red earth. The Mamo who dwells in the red earth palace is: a blood-drinking, burning messenger, sitting on a throne of human and horse corpses, with hundreds of thousands of Rakshasa women serving as messengers. On her red blood-hair, iron hailstones fall. Her eyes are like the center of the sun. Tonight, please come to this place of my child.
