Om, accumulate, accumulate, Hum!). May all diseases, evil spirits, and obstacles of us, the teachers, disciples, and retinue, be pacified! Śāntiṃ kuru ye svāhā (藏文:ཤཱནྟིཾ་ཀུ་རུ་ཡེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ།,梵文天城体:शान्तिं कुरु ये स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:śāntiṃ kuru ye svāhā,Literal meaning: Pacify, do, may it be accomplished!). At the end of this mantra, accompany each shake of the bell and recite it seven times, visualizing that the chief of the hungry ghosts, Khakhyab Barma, and the hungry ghosts as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, are all filled with nectar. After that, fold your hands at your heart and recite: Namo, homage to the Buddha! The Buddha's teachings are truth, the Dharma's teachings are also truth, the Sangha's teachings are also truth, my pure thoughts are truth, and by the blessing of the great truth, may all sources of diseases of us, the teachers, disciples, and retinue, whether the diseases caused by wind, bile, or phlegm, and the harm of the four hundred and four diseases caused by the combination, be pacified! May all sources of evil spirits, whether the evil spirits of gods, the evil spirits of nagas, the evil spirits of asuras, the evil spirits of gandharvas, the evil spirits of bhutas, the evil spirits of kings, etc., the harm of the eighty-four thousand evil spirits, be pacified! May all sources of obstacles, whether it be Mara, Tsen, kings, Dmu, Mamo, Yama, Damtri, etc., the harm of the eighty-four thousand kinds of obstacles, be pacified! Recite the words of truth three times, clapping three times after each recitation. Especially visualize: the chief of the hungry ghosts, Khakhyab Barma, and the hungry ghosts as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, holding the arrow and ribbon of life in their right hands, and the vase of life in their left hands, hooking back all the lost, wandering, and upward life force of the practitioners, teachers, disciples, and retinue, with the arrow and ribbon, filling it with the vase, and then handing the arrow, ribbon, and vase of life to oneself and the practitioners respectively, while reciting the unpleasant life mantra 'Diri Diri' and visualizing them returning. Discard the substitute (Glud) and offerings in a clean place outside.
