Bhibya. Om Arajé Virajé Svāhā! Anoint with oil. Om Dharma Dhātu Garbhé Svāhā! Place in a carved bowl. Om Vajra Mungara Akotaya Hūṃ! Strike with a vajra. Om Sarva Vidyā Svāhā! Place a talisman or flower. Om Dharma Raté Svāhā! Take out. Om Supratiṣṭha Vajré Svāhā! Request to abide. Visualize it as Vairochana, invite the wisdom being and merge. Make offerings and praises, then transform into your own form, scatter flowers and pray for stability. The second part: Place the corpse in the implements of a Chakravartin. Purify with cleansing, generate the Samaya beings. Invite the wisdom being with the power of truth. Perform bathing, offerings and praises as appropriate. Offering with the Tsog wheel, receiving empowerment is special. Then hold a Tsog feast and cast the Torma. Offer and praise the mandala deities, confess transgressions. Dismiss the wisdom being and gather the Samaya being into oneself. Dedicate the merit and pray for auspiciousness, all of which should be done according to their respective rituals. Here it is said: This is the best method for purifying karmic obscurations. Because this is the essence of this method. Sutras and tantras are like a reservoir, the oral instructions of accomplished ones, from which emerges an unprecedented sun. Difficult to endure the darkness of the lower realms, this is a shortcut to the land of liberation and enlightenment. With this new fast path, all benefits and happiness bloom simultaneously. Alas! Such a wonderful illusion, beings wandering in samsara find it difficult to endure suffering. Destroying suffering with compassion, the stainless feast of joy is revealed. For those shrouded in the darkness of ignorance, this is not a self-created delusion, but the good words of the sutras and tantras. Illuminated by the smile of the bright moon, the lotus of wisdom blooms freely. By the power of this merit, may the waves of the ocean of suffering in samsara, the city of hell, be liberated. In the feast of joy in the land of liberation, may this become the boat to the path of goodness. This ritual called 'The Swift Path to Liberation for Guiding the Deceased' was written out of compassion for beings who have fallen into the mouth of the Lord of Death and are tormented by the fears of the lower realms, and with the desire to benefit them. Due to the earnest requests of many seekers who cherish this method, Shakya Bhikshu, the Vidyadhara Gyurme Dorje, wrote it in the year of mindfulness, in the great palace of the mountain holder in the great kingdom of complete assembly. The scribe was a Vinaya holder. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
