I, Padmasambhava, for the benefit of future yogis, regarding the activity practices of the Three Roots, the method for bestowing great blessings, thus I reveal this rain-like stream of blessings. Samaya, gya gya gya. To bestow the great blessings of the Three Roots, whether a yogi is practicing great sadhana, or bestowing great empowerment upon others, or consecrating supports, etc., whatever important matter arises, those who uphold their vows should diligently engage in this. The yogi adorns himself in the attire of Heruka, plays all kinds of musical instruments, especially beating the skull drum, burning flesh and fat, waving the arrow banner and mirror, scattering nectar and rakta, raising all the offering substances, lighting great butter lamps, and in the state of clear visualization in samadhi, changing dances and postures, sings this in a melodious voice: Oṃ (oṃ, 唵), Āḥ (ā, 啊), Hūṃ (hūṃ, 吽), Hrīḥ (hrīḥ, 啥).
