Turn the disaster of disease upon the enemy, praise the great Black One (Mahakala). Bhyoh! Great Mother, Goddess Vaitarani. One face, two arms, body color blue. Right hand holds a curved knife, left hand holds a skull cup filled with blood. Riding a black mule, making a 'ga-pa' sound. Surrounded by a hundred thousand Mamos. Come here, accept the samaya substances and torma. Praise with body, speech, and mind in reverence. Samaya. Gya Gya Gya. Then the confession: Hum! Please heed, protectors and retinue. Having entered the mandala of the protectors, I, due to ignorance, with body, speech, and mind, All faults, I beseech forgiveness. Regarding guarding the sacred vows, Not acting according to the command, no accomplishment. Essence of the deity practice and torma are deficient. Root and branches, all broken and diminished, I beseech forgiveness from the assembly of protectors. Grant the power and accomplishment of the Dharma protectors. Regarding single-pointedly meditating on the deity, Samadhi is not clear, generating many thoughts. I beseech forgiveness from the assembly of Dharma protectors. Due to my unawareness, there may be lapses, In the future, I beseech you to forgive. Fulfill, confess, and beseech forgiveness. All the protectors and their retinues, When invoked, trusted, and revered, Do not be negligent, swiftly accomplish all tasks. Om Shri Mahakala Hum Phat. Then, generating the mantra wheel: Hum! Protector, Lord of Hosts, Father and Mother, And the protectors of body, speech, and mind, From the hearts of the protectors of the ten directions, Meditate on a blue Hum in the center of the sun. From the Hum in my heart, Rays of light like iron hooks emanate, Striking the hearts of the protectors and their retinues. Think that they will perform whatever tasks are entrusted. Confession: Hum! Glorious protectors and their retinues, In my practice and contemplation, If there is anything contrary to your mind, I beseech forgiveness.
