Imagine everything, including sound, dissolving into emptiness. Samaya, Gya Gya Gya! The mantra for suppression is: Whether it is a fierce demon or a black Yama (death deity) coming from underground, it opens its mouth and throws the enemy into it, devouring them completely, sinking into the nine layers of the earth. Visualize the black Mount Meru, marked with the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal meaning: seed syllable), raining down poison and weapons, sealing its mouth. Visualize the earth transforming into the nature of Vajra, then strike the hand drum. Samaya, Gya Gya Gya! This is the activity ritual of Lekden (name of a protector deity), the protector of the seven profound vows, the lower activity for subduing enemies. Homage to the glorious Heruka (name of a deity)! This is the ritual for protecting the Dharma. The yogi who holds vows and has perfected the practice of Mahakala (name of a deity), should perform this activity ritual to kill an enemy with ten unfavorable conditions. In the charnel ground, on the land of corpse remains, make a triangular platform, and place the enemy's linga (effigy) in a container made of an evil skull. Fill it with a thun box, iron powder, copper powder, stone powder, etc. Behind it, display the image of Gonpo (name of a protector deity), and in front of it, arrange tormas (ritual cakes) and other offerings well. With the pride of being the deity, generate Gonpo and his retinue in front. Recite the mantra of killing, and rays of light emanate from Gonpo's body, urging the messengers. The emanations and countless further emanations of the deities, seize all enemies and obstacles with iron hooks, bind them with ropes, restrain them with iron chains, and intoxicate them with bells. Rain down evil substances, drive other gods away, and merge consciousness into the support. The light of the body steals life and merit, power and vows, and visualize the enemy turning into black ashes. The messengers bind with a net of curses, and rain down a rain of mad blood, visualizing the enemy losing consciousness. If a sign appears, Gonpo's right hand holding a curved knife stabs the enemy's heart at the boundary between black and white, killing with a pitch-black consciousness. The messengers greedily devour the flesh and blood filled with blood and entrails. In the homa (fire offering) oven with thorns, visualize Gonpo and his retinue opening their mouths wide, cutting the linga (effigy) with a knife and iron hook, visualizing the enemies and obstacles being devoured, and burn the linga (effigy) and thun substances in the fire. Bury the ashes in a stupa or in a place where fierce demons reside. Offer tormas (ritual cakes) to Gonpo and his retinue, throw red tormas (ritual cakes) as zor, and merge into the deity's image. By doing so, the enemy will die by the sword. This is the ben ritual of Lekden (name of a protector deity), the protector of the seven profound vows. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now begins the exposition. Homage to the glorious Heruka! This is the Beng (peg) accomplishment of the Protector, the Well-gone-for-protection: Take a thorny tree, the height of a superior fathom, a medium three cubits, or one cubit. The top should be in the shape of a jewel, the bottom should be a three-pronged peg, the middle should be a square, round, crescent, or triangular frame, possessing four doors. On the upper part, place the Protector's life-wheel, the bla stone, and body images. In the lower part, fill it with killing mantras and substances for averting harm. Place it in the center of the mandala and arrange the torma offerings well. Generate yourself as the Protector, make offerings and praises, and recite mantras. Visualize a hundred thousand legions of gods emanating from the upper part of the peg, and twenty-one thousand legions of demons emanating from the lower part of the peg, devouring the flesh of all the enemies and obstructors you have targeted. Drink their blood, and think of turning back all obstacles, curses, and the armies of the Eight Classes. Recite the sixty-eight wrathful mantras with the 'shambu' syllable, and urge the commitment of the heart: 'Hūṃ! In the expanse of the red blood-ocean, in the rugged terrain of the Malaya mountains, within the burning charnel ground, dwells the sole father, the Protector. The head reaches the peak of existence, the two feet are planted in the depths of the ocean, relying on the blazing Mount Meru, wandering in the realm of space, a body equal to the three realms. Hands and feet are like thunderbolts falling, the body is like dense rain clouds, radiating the light of a hundred million suns, the great fire of the eon radiates in the ten directions, subduing all arrogance. Your magical powers and emblems are the great fortress of the army—the peg. From the upper part of the sandalwood peg, emanate countless legions of emanated gods. White like silver, yellow like gold, wielding crystal armor and weapons, white banners flutter, emanated armies spread everywhere. From the lower part of the army fortress—the peg, emanate red like copper, black like iron, wielding rhinoceros hide armor and weapons. Black banners darken like night, twenty-one thousand legions of demons emanate, emanated armies spread everywhere. Bhyo! Bhyo! Bhyo to the hateful enemy! Bhyo! Bhyo! Bhyo to the harmful obstructors! For the oath-breaking enemy and the evildoer, cut their life-force, drink their heart's blood! Do not delay until months and years, come now and liberate them!' Thus, wave the blood offering and urge. Then, perform the turning back: Hūṃ! From the mandala equal to the expanse of space, the glorious Protector Mahākāla, dark blue, blazing like a lapis lazuli mountain, surrounded by the light of a hundred million suns. The wrathful frown on the face is like churning black clouds, from the eyes blaze the suns, and the blood-ocean churns in the eye sockets. Opening the mouth wide enough to swallow the sky, making the sound of Ha! Ha! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
