Homage to the treasure of supreme compassion, Respectful prostrations to the protector of the world, Briefly expounding the treasure of nectar, the Wish-Fulfilling Jewel, The ritual procedure of the offering. It is divided into the preparation of materials and the actual ritual. Firstly, in a clean place where nagas reside, arrange nine flower bouquets on a white mandala. In front of the mandala, place in a precious vessel zampa pills or round food mixed with naga medicine and the three white (milk, yogurt, butter) and three sweet (honey, molasses, sugar) substances. Surround it with various items such as grains, jewels, silk, etc., and arrange vases moistened with naga medicine, milk, and pure water. In short, even without a mandala, it is acceptable to rely solely on pills mixed with naga medicine and a little milk offering. The practitioner, with body and mind clean and with the offerings prepared, should engage in the ritual. Secondly, before the actual ritual, one should first practice refuge, bodhicitta, and the four immeasurables. Om Svabhava Shuddha Sarva Dharma, Svabhava Shuddho 'Ham. At the crown of the head is Om (藏文:ཨོཾ,梵文天城體:ओ,梵文羅馬擬音:oṃ,字面意思:Body), at the throat is Ah (藏文:ཨཱཿ,梵文天城體:आ,梵文羅馬擬音:āḥ,字面意思:Speech), and at the heart is Hum (藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城體:हुं,梵文羅馬擬音:hūṃ,字面意思:Mind). From emptiness, arises a jeweled rocky mountain, with birds nesting, undisturbed by Garudas, surrounded by lakes, ponds, oases, and gardens, in the center of a delightful palace, on a lotus seat of eight white petals, resides the Naga King Varuna, white in color; to the east is Ananta, blue in color; to the south is Padma, white in color; to the west is Takshaka, red in color; to the north is Nanda, green in color; to the southeast is Shankhapala, white in color; to the southwest is Balavan, green in color; to the northwest is Varuna, blue in color; Anavatapta is Mahapadma, yellow in color. All of these Naga Kings have the upper body of a deva, beautiful and smiling, with a serpent's crown on their heads, their two hands joined in prayer, adorned with silk and jewels, their lower bodies coiled as snakes. They are surrounded by countless Naga retinues. Bind with the iron hook mudra, and visualize light radiating from the seed syllable in one's heart, inviting Varuna and the eight great Naga Kings, as well as all the Nagas and earth spirits.
