From the body, speech, and mind of the wrathful deity of the Front Generation (mdun bskyed), countless red, white, and blue wrathful deities arise like a blizzard, their essence being wisdom deities. They dissolve into every pore of the disciple, purifying all the sins, obscurations, diseases, hindrances, and evil spirits accumulated by the body. Please have faith and receive the blessings. Place the Black Silk Image (dar nag sku) on the crown of the head, Hūṃ! Fortunate son of the lineage, you have received the empowerment of the Black Silk Image of the great and powerful wrathful deity Hayagrīva (rta mgrin). May you subdue all appearances and existence with your power! The root mantra (rtsa sngags), and the body empowerment mantra: kāya abhiṣiñca oṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning: Body, Consecrate, Om). Thus, you receive the body empowerment and have the authority to practice the generation stage (bskyed rim) of Hayagrīva. You have become fortunate to achieve the inexhaustible body as a wheel of adornment. Again, supplicate and repeat this: Vajra Master (rdo rje slob dpon), inseparable from the great and powerful Heruka (he ru ka), please listen! I have entered the gate of the great and powerful empowerment, please bless me through speech! Repeat three times. From the mouth of the Front Generation deity, red garlands of mantras with vowels and consonants (ā li kā li) arise, dissolving into the disciple's throat, filling the entire body with the red glow of mantras. Please have faith that the power of the wrathful mantra (drag sngags) will arise. Place the Iron Hook (lcags kyu) on the throat, Hūṃ! Fortunate son of the lineage, you have received the empowerment of the Iron Hook Speech of the great and powerful wrathful deity Hayagrīva. May you subdue and gather the misled! The root mantra, and the speech empowerment mantra: vāka abhiṣiñca hrīḥ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning: Speech, Consecrate, Hrih). Thus, you receive the speech empowerment and have the authority to recite wrathful mantras. You have become fortunate to achieve the inexhaustible speech as a wheel of adornment. Again, supplicate and repeat this: Vajra Master, inseparable from the great and powerful Heruka, please listen! I have entered the gate of the great and powerful empowerment, please bless me through mind! Repeat three times. From the heart of the Front Generation deity, a dark blue Hūṃ syllable (ཧཱུྃ，hūṃ，hūṃ，seed syllable) arises, radiant and emitting immeasurable rays of various colors, dissolving into the disciple's heart, filling the entire body with the blue Hūṃ syllable. Please have faith that realization will arise and you will be endowed with power. Place the Kīla (phur pa) on the heart, Hūṃ! Fortunate son of the lineage, you have received the empowerment of the Kīla Mind of the great and powerful wrathful deity Hayagrīva. May you subjugate arrogance to your service! The root mantra, and the mind empowerment mantra: citta abhiṣiñca hūṃ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning: Mind, Consecrate, Hum). Then recite: 'Vajra Master, inseparable from the Great Glorious Heruka, please listen! I have entered the gate of the Great Glorious Empowerment, please bless me through the gate of qualities!' (Recite three times) Visualize that from the heart of the front generation, immeasurable rays of light, hot and swift, emanate, filling all realms of the world, gathering all the life essences and powers of the mamos, dakinis, dharma protectors, guardians, and arrogant males and females, and then re-gathering and dissolving into the heart of the Wrathful One, transforming into a single blue drop of light inseparable from the heart of the Wrathful One. This dissolves into the navel of the disciple, obtaining the life force of Hayagriva, enabling one to dominate the lives of all arrogant eight classes of beings in the three realms. Place the life wheel at the navel, and recite: 'Hūṃ! Fortunate son of noble lineage, you have received the empowerment of the quality wheel of the Great Glorious Wrathful Hayagriva, may you obtain the power and strength of the Wrathful One!' The root mantra and: Cakra ratna abhiṣiñca trāṃ (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思). Thus, the empowerment of qualities is obtained, enabling one to cultivate samadhi without any fixed direction, making one fortunate to accomplish the inexhaustible wheel of qualities. Again, recite this supplication: 'Vajra Master, inseparable from the Great Glorious Heruka, please listen! I have entered the gate of the Great Glorious Empowerment, please bless me through the gate of activities!' (Recite three times) Visualize that from the hair parting of the front generation, immeasurable green-black wrathful water emanates, empowering the disciple to be capable of fierce, manifest actions. Place the sword in a secret place and hand it over, reciting: 'Hūṃ! Fortunate son of noble lineage, you have received the empowerment of the activity sword of the Great Glorious Wrathful Hayagriva, may you completely cut off all enemies and obstacles!' The root mantra and: Karma abhiṣiñca āḥ (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思). Thus, the empowerment of activities is obtained, enabling one to accomplish a vast array of activities, primarily fierce, manifest actions, making one fortunate to accomplish the inexhaustible wheel of activities. Holding the Great Glorious Torma, visualize this torma as inseparable from the front generation, appearing as the body of the Great Glorious Wrathful King Black Hayagriva. Dissolving from the crown of your head, may all the body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities of the Great Glorious Wrathful Hayagriva enter the disciple's body! Hūṃ!
