From the Great Compassionate One, Liberator from Samsara, TD887 of the Great Treasure Collection: A Concise Empowerment Compiled for Reading, Called 'Pool of Accomplishments'. Shikling Great Compassionate One, Essential Empowerment. Hūṃ! From the Great Compassionate One, Liberator from Samsara: A Concise Empowerment Compiled for Reading, Called 'Pool of Accomplishments'. Namo Guru Lokeshvaraya (Sanskrit: नमो गुरु लोकेश्वराय, Roman transliteration: Namo Guru Lokeśvarāya, Meaning: Homage to the Guru Avalokiteśvara). The Dharmakaya is all-pervasive, like the sky, without depth or limit; The Sambhogakaya is perfectly complete, with boundless pure lands; The Nirmanakaya manifests in various forms, thoroughly shaking samsara. We take refuge in you, please protect us! The essence of empowerment, like a wish-fulfilling jewel, Is supreme for taming beings. This is the extracted essence of Padmasambhava's heart, Those who desire the two siddhis should diligently practice it. If someone dislikes elaborate rituals and wishes to ripen their mindstream with this empowerment, then on a clean platform, prepare the support torma: mix chang, milk, spices, brown sugar, and honey with tsampa. Pile it into a square Mount Meru, then round it on top. On top of that, place an eight-petaled lotus, and on the lotus, place a vase surrounded by lotuses, adorned with a blazing jewel at the opening. The base of Mount Meru is also surrounded by overlapping inner and outer lotuses, arranged on a seat. In front or behind, Place a bandha dūm (Sanskrit: बन्ध, Roman transliteration: bandha, Meaning: bond) filled with a mixture of chang and dharma medicine, topped with a mirror and crystal. Prepare medicine rakta torma and the usual outer offerings. Prepare a karma vase filled with essence, with a green neck cord, and gather the tsok torma needed for the activity. Then, follow any of the outer, inner, or secret sadhana methods of the Great Compassionate One. Here, following the common approach, fully perform the condensed essence version of the activity manual 'Treasure Source of Accomplishments'. During the generation stage, generate oneself and the front generation separately, and connect the other limbs and mantra recitation accordingly. After completing the recitation, visualize inside the karma vase: on a lotus and sun disc, Vajravidarana (Sanskrit: वज्रविदारण, Roman transliteration: Vajravidāraṇa, Meaning: Vajra Destroyer) is wrathful and smiling, green in color, holding various vajras and a bell, complete with sambhogakaya attire, seated in vajra posture. At his heart, a hūṃ (Sanskrit: हुं, Roman transliteration: hūṃ, Meaning: hūṃ) is surrounded by mantras. Recite to stimulate his mindstream, causing nectar to descend, filling the vase with purifying water. Visualize in this way, and recite the Vajravidarana heart mantra as much as possible. Then, offer the torma to the treasure-protecting deities, and proceed from the blessing of the tsok to the repulsion, throwing the wisdom flower. Bathe the disciples with the water from the karma vase, Hūṃ --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hūṃ! With the stainless, pure wisdom water, purify all karma, obstacles, obscurations, and so forth. May the bodies, speech, and minds of these disciples be cleansed of defilements, and may they become vessels for the complete four empowerments! As in the ritual, bless the torma, issue commands, and establish boundaries. Arrange and gather the mandala, and clearly visualize the generation of bodhicitta. This is the practice of Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara (spyan ras gzigs dbang phyug), the lord of bodies and limitless pure lands, the emanation of the thousand Buddhas of the Fortunate Aeon, the protector of all beings in the world, and especially the protector of the snowy land of Tibet. It encompasses the six classes of tantras and the intent of the upper and lower yogas, explained by various accomplished masters in countless traditions. What is being performed here is that at the top of the great Tsuklakhang ( 'phrul snang) Temple in Lhasa (ra sa), in front of the statues of the Seven Buddhas, Guru Rinpoche (ma hA gu ru rdo rje thod phreng gshog rgod rtsal), at the request of the lord and his sons (mnga' bdag yab sras mtsho rgyal rje 'bangs), opened the mandala of Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara, liberating beings from samsara through the three roots, and bestowed empowerments, granting the generation and completion stage practices and their parts, leading them to maturation and liberation. He instructed that these teachings be concealed as treasures for the benefit of future generations. Thus, Lady Yeshe Tsogyal (mtsho rgyal ma), the consort of Padmasambhava, wrote down the secret words with molten gold on birch bark, placed them together with the substances of the four liberations in a ruby vase, and sealed them in that place. When the time came to tame the beings of the forty kalpas of strife, as stated in the treasure prophecy of Rigdzin Jatzon Nyingpo: 'Thereafter, in the harsh age of forty, he will appear in the direction of Tölung, called Shipo Ling (zhig po gling). He will not rely on artificial methods of wind and fire, his words will be rough, and he will speak as he pleases, without regard for rank. He will display miraculous powers and wonders, and whoever connects with him will be free from the suffering of the lower realms. He will benefit the secret teachings and lead them to happiness, and all the black-sided spirits will be subdued and humbled. Various evil deeds, though they may flourish for a time, will quickly subside, and he will avert the harm of the Hor and Sok from Ü-Tsang. He will lead many beings to the Copper-Colored Glorious Mountain.' Thus, this profound Dharma treasure, revealed by Garwang Zhipo Lingpa (gar dbang zhig po gling pas), the emanation of Lhasé Damdzin (lha sras dam 'dzin), has extensive and concise maturation practices, root and branch teachings, complete instructions, and many generation and completion stage practices. Here, only the essential empowerment of this Dharma is being bestowed. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
