Recite and vehemently utter 'Āveśaya Āveśaya A Āḥ' (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning: ཱ་བེ་ཤ་ཡ་ཨཱ་བེ་ཤ་ཡ་ཨ་ཨཱཿ,आवेशय आवेशय अ आः,Āveśaya Āveśaya A Āḥ,Please descend, please descend, Ah Ah), while offering incense and playing music. Do the same for the other four. Then, pray again with intention, starting from the brow of the Hayagrīva (Horse-necked One) Warrior Sea on the right side, repeating the above words, and finally empower with the Vajrakrodha (Wrathful Vajra) mantra plus 'Āveśaya' (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning: ཱ་བེ་ཤ་ཡ་,आवेशय,Āveśaya,Please descend). Pray again with intention, starting from the brow of the Guhyajnana Dakini (Secret Wisdom Dakini) Warrior Sea on the left side, and empower with the 'Dhūmaghāye' (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning: དྷུ་མ་གྷ་ཡེ,धूमघाये,Dhūmaghāye,Smoky Cloud) mantra plus 'Śambhu' (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning: ཤམ་བུ་,शम्भू,Śambhu,Self-born). Pray again with intention, starting from the brow of the Padmasambhava (Lotus-born) Siddha (Accomplished One) Sea above, and empower with the Vajraguru (Vajra Master) mantra with 'Śambhu' (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning: ཤམ་བུ་,शम्भू,Śambhu,Self-born). Pray again with intention, starting from the brow of the Mahakala (Great Black One) Protector Sea below, and empower with the Mahakala mantra with 'Śambhu' (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning: ཤམ་བུ་,शम्भू,Śambhu,Self-born). Pray intensely again with intention, and from the brows, necks, hearts, navels, and other places of the bodies of these deity assemblies, emanate inconceivable rays of light, which dissolve into the respective places of one's own body, thereby eliminating all obstacles such as diseases, evil spirits, and sins, and greatly increasing life, glory, and wealth, obtaining the four empowerments, and having the fortune to manifest the four bodies. Place the Torma (sacrificial cake) on the head, accompanied by music and song, ending with the verse of invitation 'Hum! From the city of the Rakshasas in the southwest,' recite: 'Om Ah Hum Hrih, Om Mani Padme Hum, Om Dhuma Ghaye Namah Svaha, Hari Nisa Ra Ja Shriya Aveshaya, Aveshaya A Ah' (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning: ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱིཿ ཨོཾ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ། ཨོཾ་དྷུ་མ་གྷ་ཡེ་ན་མཿསྭཱ་ཧཱ། ཧ་རི་ནི་ས་ར་ཙ་ཧྲི་ཡ་ཨཱ་བེ་ཤ་ཡ། ཨཱ་བེ་ཤ་ཡ་ཨཿཨཱཿ,ओम् आः हुं ह्रीः ओम् मणि पद्मे हुं । आवेशय अ आः,Om Ah Hum Hrih, Om Mani Padme Hum, Om Dhuma Ghaye Namah Svaha, Hari Nisa Ra Ja Shriya Aveshaya, Aveshaya A Ah,Om Ah Hum Hrih, Om Mani Padme Hum, Om Smoky Cloud Namah Svaha, Hari Nisa Ra Ja Shriya Please Descend, Please Descend Ah Ah) continuously. After performing such profound blessings, when wisdom descends upon the body, the body will burn and tremble; when wisdom descends upon the speech, it will utter Sanskrit sounds; when wisdom descends upon the mind, non-conceptual samadhi (meditative absorption) will arise in the mind. Therefore, be certain that these are signs of the arrival of Vajra wisdom, and rest in a state of non-contrivance (non-discrimination). To stabilize this wisdom of empowerment, visualize the deity assemblies of the Five Buddha Families jointly bestowing auspicious wishes: The Dharmadhatu (realm of truth) is spontaneously accomplished, the undifferentiated samsara (cyclic existence) and nirvana (liberation) are completely perfected, the mother of the Buddhas of the three times, may there be the auspiciousness of the supreme Dharmakaya (truth body)! The wisdom of Vairochana (the Illuminator) is like a great snow mountain ocean, surrounded by Akshobhya (the Immovable One) and other Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, may there be the auspiciousness of the Sambhogakaya (enjoyment body)! The great sage, the golden Buddha, in the center of the thousand Buddhas of this fortunate eon, the inconceivable transformations, may there be... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May auspiciousness prevail! The three kayas (Trikaya) spontaneously perfected, within the mandala of the wisdom realm, the essence is all-knowing, may the complete four kayas be auspicious! Self-Arisen Vajra (Rangjung Dorje), like finding a wish-fulfilling jewel, may it dispel the poverty of oneself and others, and may auspiciousness arise from fulfilling needs and desires! Through the activities of the Bodhicitta (awakening mind), rays of compassion shine without bias, like the full moon on the fifteenth day, may the world of Jambudvipa (the continent where we live) be auspicious! Thus, auspiciousness is proclaimed. Since you have received the empowerment based on the Torma (ritual cake) in the mandala of the Bhagavan (Blessed One) Avalokiteśvara (Lord of the World) Jina (Victor) Gyalwa Gyatso (Ocean of Conquerors, i.e., Dalai Lama), you should think of training in the Vajrayana (Diamond Vehicle) vows, and repeat after me. Recite 'How the Chief' etc., and offer the Mandala. Offer body and possessions, make the dedication as usual, and then the disciples depart. Starting from the Tsok (feast), at the end of all subsequent rituals, recite 'A-ka-ro' etc., dismiss the Torma, and bless the disciples in the manner of accomplishment, and proclaim auspiciousness. The text of this Torma empowerment was written by Donlen Zhabs, Karma Könzhön, and Könchok Yenlak, and its root is this work by Omniscient Self-Arisen Zhabs, and everything is only a matter of textual elaboration or abbreviation, but the meaning of the mantras and visualizations is exactly the same. Now, the ritual written by Könchok Wongpo has been somewhat abbreviated, so those of inferior intelligence like myself see that the very important blessings, visualizations, and signs cannot be understood, and wander in the darkness. Therefore, referring to the root text of Self-Arisen Zhabs, I have supplemented the hidden places and made them clear. In the two rituals called Wakarma, with the unique maturing deep and vast Dharma, may all those connected with this clear explanation be embraced by the Lord of the World! Thus, in connection with the verses of the mandala of the five deities accomplished by the Fifth Kadampa, for the needs of oneself and others, Pema Garwang Lodrö Thaye wrote this in the secluded Zla Dzema (Beautiful Moon Place), may goodness increase! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
