Adorned with Promises: With the right hand, the golden vajra points towards the heart, and the left holds the vase of longevity in equipoise. On the crown of the head, a green horse head neighs, echoing in the expanse. Embraced in his lap is Mandāravā (consort of Padmasambhava) and Caṇḍālī (fierce goddess), red in color, in the attire of a yogini, hair unbound, adorned with five bone ornaments. The two hands hold a skull cup filled with lotus and nectar, embracing the father. On the crown of the head is a sow face grunting. Padmasambhava and the consort reside in the midst of intertwined rainbow lights in vajra posture. The three places (body, speech, and mind) are marked with white, red, and blue syllables (Oṃ, Āḥ, Hūṃ). From the heart of the guru, countless rays of light emanate. Invoking the root guru, the Three Roots (Guru, Yidam, Dakini), and all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas residing in the vast expanse of Dharma. In particular, invoking the deity assembly residing in the three pure lands of the guru's body, speech, and mind, to inspire their heart streams. All of these manifest as the deities of the mandala, the union of the immortal, the three bodies (Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, Nirmanakaya), filling the sky. Visualize them dissolving into you, so that the blessings of the lineage are fully infused into your being. Accompanied by the fragrant incense and the melodious sounds of instruments. Hrīḥ (seed syllable). In the past kalpa. In the realm of Lotus Light. Attained the siddhi of no birth and no death. Please bestow blessings, Protector Amitayus. In the cave of Māratika. United with the wisdom dakini. Attained the supreme body without aging. Please bestow blessings, Padmasambhava. In the bird's nest of Yarlung. Attained the siddhi of bliss-emptiness wisdom. Ripening and liberating fortunate followers. Please bestow blessings, Yeshe Tsogyal. From the palace of the Three Lords of the World in Uru. Liberating the assembly of ripening and liberation. Attained the supreme siddhi of wonder. Please bestow blessings, Rigdzin Gyatso. On the summit of the Copper-Colored Mountain. Representative of Padmasambhava, protector of beings. Grant common and supreme siddhis. Lamas, Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions, especially the Tshe Lha (long life deity), Rigdzins (vidyadharas), and deathless accomplished ones, may your compassion and blessings be bestowed. May the essence of life, merit, glory, and wealth of all phenomena in samsara and nirvana, as well as your own Bla Tshe (life force), Sog (vitality), and Dug (breath), all that is diminished or increased, be gathered into the form of deathless nectar and five-colored rainbow light drops, dissolving into you. Generate the faith to attain the siddhi of the Rigdzin Tshe (vidyadhara life)! Recite the long life prayer. From the 'Tshe Gug Le'u' (Chapter on Inviting Life), recite: 'Hrih! In the beginning of the past kalpa, Vajra Tshe Drub (Vajra Life Accomplishment), etc., grant the siddhi of long life!' Recite the middle and concluding parts, and play music. These are the preliminary preparations for the empowerment. Now, relying on symbolic mudras, the four empowerments of meaning will be bestowed directly, so visualize as follows. Hold the Torma (offering cake). Within a precious, complete, and perfect palace, the Torma itself is clearly visualized as the assembly of deathless long life deities, the embodiment of the three kayas. Invite and bless them upon your crown, so that the blessing of the body enters the body, and you receive the Bumpa (vase) empowerment. Visualize that you have conquered the demons of the skandhas (aggregates) and become fortunate ones who can manifest the Vajra Body. 'Hrih! This blazing and glorious Torma, outwardly adorned with the five desirable qualities of a palace, inwardly dwells the assembly of the three roots and deathless deities. By bestowing empowerment upon the fortunate sons of the lineage, may they conquer the demons of the skandhas and attain the empowerment of long life!' Recite: Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Deva Dakini Ayu Abhisinca Om. Place the Torma on the crown of the head. Visualize that the deities of the Torma, while uttering the sound of the Vajra mantra like thunder, bless your speech, so that the blessing of speech enters the speech, and you receive the secret empowerment. Conquer the demons of afflictions, and become fortunate ones who can attain the Vajra Speech. 'Hrih! From this Torma arises the sound of mantra, the self-sound of emptiness roars like thunder in the sky. Purifying the obscurations of the speech of the sons of the lineage, may they conquer the demons of afflictions and attain the empowerment of long life!' Recite: Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Deva Dakini Ayu Abhisinca Ah. Place it on the throat. Visualize that the shape and structure of the Torma represent the ultimate nature, and by blessing, the blessing of the mind enters the mind, and you receive the wisdom empowerment. Conquer the demons of the Lord of Death, and become fortunate ones who can manifest the Vajra Mind. 'Hrih! The nature of the Torma is the Dharmadhatu (realm of reality), perfectly round, spontaneously accomplished.
