From emptiness, visualize the dwelling transforming into the Pure Land of Sukhavati and a vast palace. In the center, from 'པཾ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari padma, Romanized Sanskrit padma, lotus) arises a lotus, and from 'ཨ་' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari ah, Romanized Sanskrit āḥ, ah) arises a moon disc. On the moon disc is the essence of your wisdom, the red syllable 'ཧྲཱིཿ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari hrīḥ, Romanized Sanskrit hrīḥ, hrih). From there, rays of light emanate, making offerings to the noble ones, removing obstacles to life, and so forth, benefiting sentient beings. The light rays converge and completely transform, and you become the Bhagavan Amitayus, the King of Immeasurable Life and Wisdom, with a body color like a ruby, red. The two hands are in the meditation mudra, holding a vase filled with the nectar of immortal life in the palms. You are seated in the vajra posture, adorned with silks and jewels, radiating infinite light and rays, with the splendor of the marks and signs blazing supremely. At the forehead is the white syllable 'ཨོཾ་' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari oṃ, Romanized Sanskrit oṃ, om), at the throat is the red syllable 'ཨཱཿ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari āḥ, Romanized Sanskrit āḥ, ah), and at the heart is the blue syllable 'ཧཱུྃ་' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari hūṃ, Romanized Sanskrit hūṃ, hum). In the center of the heart, on the moon disc, is a red syllable 'ཧྲཱིཿ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari hrīḥ, Romanized Sanskrit hrīḥ, hrih), blazing like a flame. From this syllable and the 'ཧྲཱིཿ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari hrīḥ, Romanized Sanskrit hrīḥ, hrih) syllable of the guru and the visualized deity in front, immeasurable rays of light emanate, and from the ten directions and countless realms, such as the Western Pure Land of Sukhavati, invoke the Bhagavan Amitayus and all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Three Roots, and Ocean of Dharma Protectors, stirring their hearts. From their three places and the three places of the visualized deity in front, the form, hand gestures, speech syllables, and mind symbols of the Protector Amitayus, immeasurable like dust motes in sunlight or falling rain, come forth and dissolve into you, blessing your being. Maintain this faith! Accompanied by incense and music, at the end of the invocation in the action ritual, recite: 'ཧྲཱིཿཧྲཱིཿཧྲཱི༔ ཨོཾ་ཛྙཱ་ན་བཛྲ་ཨཱ་བེ་ཤ་ཡ་ཨ་ཨཱཿ' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari hrīḥ hrīḥ hrīḥ oṃ jñānavajra āveśaya āḥ āḥ, Romanized Sanskrit hrīḥ hrīḥ hrīḥ oṃ jñānavajra āveśaya āḥ āḥ, Hrih Hrih Hrih Om, Wisdom Vajra, Please Descend Ah Ah) many times. Having thus descended the wisdom beings, visualize them remaining steadfast until the essence of enlightenment. Recite 'ཏིཥྛ་བཛྲ་' (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari tiṣṭha vajra, Romanized Sanskrit tiṣṭha vajra, Remain Vajra), and place the vajra on the head. Then, in order to summon life, visualize as follows: By having devoted faith in the Guru Amitayus, from his heart emanate messengers and light rays, spreading above, below, and in all directions. All of your life force, vitality that has declined and diminished, that which has been stolen, plundered, and destroyed by the eight classes of powerful spirits, and the splendor and essence of the vessel and contents of the world, all the life accomplishments of samsara and nirvana, all transform into nectar. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
