Invited from Yalong. From the Profound Dharma, Essence of the Vidyadharas' Heart Drop: The Sadhana of the Immortal, Quintessential Union. Homage to the Deity of Immortal Empowerment! May I, Padmasambhava, the Vidyadhara, for the sake of future generations, from among the many essential treasures I have concealed, may this supreme instruction meet with a fortunate heart-son! Samaya! From the Immortal Instruction, Quintessential Union: If you wish to practice the innermost secret, all-encompassing sadhana: In a secluded and delightful, pure place, on a smooth and firm ground, draw a mandala of one cubit. Then, beautifully draw an eight-petaled lotus mandala. In the center, place a precious vase with auspicious signs, cleansed with fragrant water, and filled with auspicious substances. Adorn it well with ornaments and a neck cord. Also, a skull cup with auspicious signs filled with nectar, tormas, longevity pills, life-sustaining arrows and banners, and all outer and inner offering clouds should be completely arranged. Refuge: Om Ah Hum! Immortal deities, possessors of compassion, to the complete mandala of deities, until I have attained the longevity vidyadhara, I and others respectfully take refuge. Bodhicitta: Hrih! For the sake of myself and others attaining immortality, having accomplished the longevity deities, through activities that tame beings accordingly, I generate the mind to benefit beings. Hrih! In the state of non-conceptual clarity, in an instant, contemplate the mind as Hum (藏文：ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：हुं，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉字字面意思：吽). From this, light radiates in all directions, transforming into a great vajra tent. Vajra Raksha Hum Phat (藏文：བཛྲ་རཀྵ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ，梵文天城体：वज्र रक्ष हुं फट्，梵文罗马拟音：vajra rakṣa hūṃ phaṭ，汉字字面意思：金刚 保护 吽 啪)! In the center of that, a palace celestial mansion, on a lotus and sun seat in the delightful center, from Hrih (藏文：ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城体：ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：hrīḥ，汉字字面意思：舍) arises oneself as Amitayus, red, in meditative equipoise, holding a longevity vase, adorned with the ornaments of the enjoyment body, seated in the vajra posture. On the eight petals of the lotus outside, are the four heart-mothers and the four swift-mothers, and the four gatekeepers outside, clear like a rainbow. From the Hrih (藏文：ཧྲཱིཿ，梵文天城体：ह्रीः，梵文罗马拟音：hrīḥ，汉字字面意思：舍) in the heart, light radiates, and the wisdom beings are invited. Invocation: Hrih! From the vast expanse of great bliss and purity, Bhagavan, supreme deity, protector Amitayus, with your entire retinue, through the power of compassion, come here and grant the supreme and common siddhis! (Vajra Ayur Jnana Sarva Siddhi Phala Hum) Blessing of offerings: Clouds of outer, inner, and secret offerings, filling the immaculate sky. (Om Ah Hum) Flowers, incense, lamps, perfumes, food, music, outer offerings. Flesh, blood, balim, amrita, skull drums, etc., inner offerings. Non-dual union, bodhicitta, etc., offering of great secrets. (Sarva Maha Puja Ho) Praise: Hrih! To the protector Amitayus, self-arisen and self-manifest from the expanse of dharmadhatu, I prostrate and praise! To the four heart-mothers and the four great swift mothers, the four gatekeepers, and their retinues, I praise! Recitation: At my heart, on an eight-petaled moon, Hrih! Around the edge, a garland of mantras, red and clear, turning clockwise. From my own sound, turning, from Hrih, rays of light, like iron hooks, radiate life, glory, wealth, all gathered and absorbed into me, becoming a vajra body. Meditate and recite, contemplating appearance without inherent existence.
