The Great Treasure, TD178, from 'Lama Gongpa Duspa' (The Guru's Intentions Confluence): The innermost secret root heart practice clarifying the Guru, Yidam, and Khandro, entitled 'The Jewel of the Heart'. Sangling Gongdu. Dril Sgrub (Combined Practice). From 'Lama Gongpa Duspa': The innermost secret root heart practice clarifying the Guru, Yidam, and Khandro, entitled 'The Jewel of the Heart'. Sangling Gongdu. Dril Sgrub (Combined Practice). Om Ah Hum! From 'Lama Gongpa Duspa': The innermost secret root heart practice clarifying the Guru, Yidam, and Khandro, entitled 'The Jewel of the Heart'. Namo Guru Deva Dakini Hum! Future fortunate lion-hearted sons! This Three Roots combined practice, Orgyen (Padmasambhava) life-essence phurba (Dorje Phurba), Whoever takes it to heart with one-pointed focus, Will be inseparable from me, and whatever they wish will come to pass. Other common practices are like the sky, Or like constellations, numerous and complete, But this is a heart practice, like the sun and moon, One is enough, a confident and meaningful essence phurba, It is the essential instruction holding the 'Intentions Confluence'. The person who practices this, Should possess faith, samaya (vow), diligence, and compassion, Be broad-minded, steadfast, able to keep secrets, and live alone, Without attachment or clinging, let go of this life with your mind, Seek to benefit others, and bear a qualified skull cup (thod pa). Free from doubt and hesitation, accomplish the practice. The place should be a mountain valley, the foot of a glacier, a dense forest, an island, A charnel ground (durtro), a remote area, or a secluded practice place, Or a pleasant, warm, and blessed place, If agreeable, even a city is fine. There, on an auspicious waxing moon, good astrological time, Perform the three activities of approach, accomplishment, and application. First, the approach practice, this intense red heat, Abandon worldly affairs and diligently approach. When the signs are complete, then engage in the activity of accomplishment. If you apply accomplishment and activities before the signs are complete, It is like unripe fruit, spoiled and the blessings vanish, Obstacles and harm from demons will occur. When the signs are complete, then accomplish and apply the activities, Whatever you wish, siddhis (accomplishments) will fall like rain, Supreme accomplishment will be achieved, what need to mention common accomplishments? Therefore, practice diligently until the signs are complete. Samaya (vow)! Refuge, bodhicitta (awakening mind), the seven-branch prayer, and other preliminary practices should be performed according to the general texts, expanding or condensing as appropriate. Next, to engage in the approach practice of the 'Jewel of the Heart' clarifying the continuous stream yoga: From the clear samadhi (meditative absorption) of instantaneous recollection, From the syllable པཾ (Tibetan, padma, padma, lotus) arises a lotus, from the syllable ཨ་ (Tibetan, ā, ā, a) arises a moon disc, from the syllable རཾ་ (Tibetan, ram, ram, ram) arises a sun disc, upon these discs, visualize oneself as the Bhagavan Pal Tamingrin (Bhagavan Pal Tamingrin, Glorious Hayagriva). --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

His body is red, with one face and two arms, wrathful and fierce. His hair is disheveled, blackish-red, and floats upwards. Within it is a green horse head, with a red beard, blazing like fire. From it, red rays of light like sparks from a blacksmith's forge shine forth like iron hooks, thereby subduing the three realms. From his mouth, a horse's cry resounds like the sound of three thousand worlds, thereby overwhelming the three realms with his power. He is adorned with five dry skulls and a jeweled crest. His mouth is open, with four fangs bared and his tongue curled. His three eyes are red and round, flashing like lightning. His eyebrows and beard blaze and flutter like fire. He wears an elephant skin as an upper garment and a tiger skin as a lower garment. He has a belt of human skin. All his limbs are entwined with jeweled bracelets and snakes. He is adorned with a garland of fifty-one fresh skulls and the eight charnel ground ornaments, as well as the six bone ornaments. Banners of various silks flutter. His right hand raises a vajra chopper into the sky, and his left hand holds a skull cup filled with blood at his knee. His belly is large and his skin is rough. He is extremely wrathful and fierce, with the appearance of an angry yaksha and rakshasa. He dwells in the midst of blazing wisdom fire. Clearly visualize in his heart: From his own heart's blood, the syllable 'པཾ' (Tibetan, Devanagari: पं, Romanized Sanskrit: paṃ, Seed syllable, representing lotus) transforms into an ocean of nectar, like red copper-colored milk. In the center of this ocean: the heart itself transforms into a stacked lotus stem. All the veins of the heart extend outwards, transforming into branches, leaves, and flowers of the lotus stem, flourishing and growing. It is radiant and magnificent, like the leaves of a great wish-fulfilling tree, prosperous and complete. Visualize at the tip of the heart, the pistil with four petals of a lotus flower, like a red lotus about to bloom. On top of the pistil: Guru Rinpoche Padmasambhava, his body red, clear, and radiant, even more radiant than red light, with shimmering red rays. He is about eight years old, extremely handsome, with one face and two arms, sitting in the vajra posture, embracing his consort Mandarava. His hands, the right holds a golden five-pronged vajra, and the left holds a skull cup filled to the brim with uncontaminated nectar, embracing his consort's waist in a crossed-arm gesture. The consort's body is the color of saffron flowers, with one face and two arms, holding a chopper and a skull cup filled with nectar, embracing the deity. Both the deity and the consort are naked, completely bare. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
