The Profound Seven, from the Profound Essence of the Three Roots of Life, the Four Tantras of the Heart Essence of the Three Roots Consolidated. Chokling (Chokgyur Lingpa) Three Roots, Root Tantra. (Title) From the Profound Seven, the Profound Essence of the Three Roots of Life, the Four Tantras of the Heart Essence of the Three Roots Consolidated. Chokling (Chokgyur Lingpa) Three Roots, Root Tantra. (Auspicious words) From the Profound Seven, the Profound Essence of the Three Roots of Life, the Four Tantras of the Heart Essence of the Three Roots Consolidated. In Sanskrit: Guru Deva Dakini Samtantra Nama In Tibetan: Called 'The Authentic Tantra of the Three Roots'. The glorious Amitayus (Tsepakme), from the expanse of his self-originated wisdom, manifested the three roots as a great display of wisdom and spoke this: Emaho! All Sugatas are complete within the nature of the three roots. The primordial Buddha is the Lama; all Buddhas rely on the Lama. The root of all Lamas also arises from the wondrous ocean of self-nature. Padma Vajra, immortal king, Lama of the three times, Skull Garland Power. The union of all victors is just that; peaceful appearance, Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara); wrathful, powerful, fierce power. Complete with the nature of all siddhis; enjoying together with Vajravarahi and other Dakinis. Swiftly accomplishing great activities and siddhis; appearing in any way as the five kayas and eight names. The play of the peaceful and wrathful assembly of victorious ones; complete within the nature of the Lama's body. Possessing the melody of sixty qualities; also speaking the eighty-four thousand dharmas. The mind is indivisible from the two, space and awareness; qualities are limitless, free from partiality. Activity is equal to the limit of space; inconceivable, inexpressible. Like not moving from the sphere of dharma, wisdom arises as the three roots. Perfecting beings, unsurpassed. When approaching and accomplishing that, during the approach, visualize the Lama on the crown of the head; approach in the manner of supplication. During the accomplishment, visualize the Lama in the heart; recite the mantra in the manner of offering and praise. The temporary common activity, the accomplishment of immortal life, visualizing the Lama in the five places; gathering the essence of the five elements, accomplish life, and purifying the five poisons also accomplishes the supreme. The four activities are spontaneously accomplished; in particular, the Lama's five empowerments, and the extraction of the essence of the Yidam's life, and the accomplishment of the Dakini's five activities, visualize the small seed syllables in the five places. Thus it was spoken. The first chapter of the root tantra of the all-encompassing wisdom expanse of the three roots. Then, the Great Compassionate One asked again: Kyeho! Protector, Lord of Life, hear me! What is the meaning of the Sugata's three roots being complete in nature? The Lama becomes the primordial Buddha... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What does it mean? What is the meaning of relying on the Lama as the Buddha? Please, Protector (Mgonpo), explain all of this. Then, Amitayus (Tsepakme) spoke: 'Listen, Great Compassionate One, Avalokiteśvara (Chenrezig)!' The Sugatas of the ten directions and four times are all endowed with wisdom, compassion, and power. 'The root of the blessing of wisdom is the Lama, the root of the accomplishment of compassion is the Yidam deity, and the root of the activity of power is the Dakini (Khandro).' The Lama is the reason for the first Buddha to appear: the King of Self-Awareness, the Supreme of Self-Illuminating Lamas. Without accumulating accumulations, all that is seen is Samantabhadra (Kuntuzangpo). Therefore, before Samantabhadra, the Lama also appeared. The guide who shows self-awareness as the Lama relies on the physical form of the Lama. Apart from Samantabhadra, I have not seen anyone who has become a Buddha by relying on another (Lama). 'Therefore, it is precious to rely on the holy Lama.' This is the chapter where all the Sugatas are gathered in the three roots, and in general, it is about the greatness of the Lama, which is the second chapter. Then, Avalokiteśvara asked again: 'Kyeho! Protector, Lord of Life, please listen!' The root of all the Sugata Lamas is also the emanation of you, Protector, born from the lake. Whose name is Padma Vajra Achime Gyal (Lotus Vajra Immortal King), the embodiment of all Lamas of the three times, Skull Garland Power (Thodpa Tsal).' Please, Protector, truly explain how to show the gathering of all the Buddhas, and the ways in which peaceful and wrathful forms emanate. In response to his request, the Teacher spoke again: 'Kyeho! Listen, Lord of Compassion!' All-pervading, Samantabhadra appears as a form, although there are many ways of appearing, most are similar. My emanation born from the lake is just an expression of conventional teaching. Ultimately, Samantabhadra is Padma Vajra: all the Victors are the miracles of Samantabhadra. Therefore, self-awareness is the basis of all Lamas: emptiness is stainless, within the lotus of wisdom. Appearing as great bliss, immutable Vajra (Dorje), the attainment of the union body, all of this is so. Because everything is gathered, it is called Padma Vajra.' The first Buddhas also gathered here, and the present Buddhas also arose from this. All future guides will emanate from this. The pinnacle of the nine vehicles, the unsurpassed secret mantra, depends on the human body that completes the coarse elements. Therefore, in the human world, the Victor who teaches the secret mantra is the Lord of Excellent Power in this world. Obtaining the power of spontaneous wisdom of Tögal. This is precisely the collective embodiment of all the Victors, pacifying with peace and wrath, appearing peaceful to those who are tamed with peace, and appearing wrathful to those who are tamed with wrath. However it may emanate, Padmasambhava (Padma), is the King of Self-Awareness Lamas, I say so.' This is about the Vidyadhara... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
