To the spontaneously accomplished Tshewang Rigdzin, I offer this peaceful effigy, May you accomplish the activity of pacifying all illnesses, evil spirits, sins, obscurations, and impairments! To the spontaneously accomplished Tshewang Rigdzin, I offer this enriching effigy, May you accomplish the activity of increasing lifespan, teachings, and power! Then, take the auspicious substances, symbols, and the seven royal emblems in order. Furthermore, the Vajra Master says: In the past, to the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni, a grass seller named Tashi (Auspicious) offered durva grass, and he blessed it as an auspicious substance, Through the power of that, for the sake of the stability of the life of the glorious and holy lama, May it be auspicious with the substance of durva grass! Durva grass increases life, It perfectly accomplishes the life of Vajrasattva, It pacifies all afflictive diseases, May that auspiciousness increase life! In the past, to the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni, the lord of the gods, Indra, offered a white conch shell spiraling to the right, and he blessed it as an auspicious substance, Now, for the sake of the stability of the life of the glorious and holy lama, May it be auspicious with the substance of the white conch shell! The conch is the manner of proclaiming the sounds of the Dharma, It is the supremely pure ocean of wisdom, It enjoys the pure Dharma without obstruction, May that auspiciousness proclaim the sound of the Dharma! In the past, to the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni, the goddess of form, Light-Bearing Mother, offered a mirror, and he blessed it as an auspicious substance, Now, for the sake of the stability of the life of the glorious and holy lama, May it be auspicious with the substance of the mirror! The mirror is the great ocean of wisdom, It is pure in the very ocean of wisdom, It realizes the pure essence of wisdom, May that auspiciousness be auspicious here and now! In the past, to the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni, the elephant Earth Protector offered giwang (bezoar), and he blessed it as an auspicious substance, Now, for the sake of the stability of the life of the glorious and holy lama, May it be auspicious with the substance of giwang! Giwang destroys the three poisons, it is medicine for diseases, It is the supreme medicine that perfectly realizes the Dharma nature, It cuts the stream of birth and death of afflictions. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May this auspiciousness pacify the three poisons! In the past, the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni (Shakya Thubpa) received yogurt made from the milk of two thousand cows, offered by the village girl Lekskeyma, and blessed it as an auspicious substance. Now, for the sake of the long life of the venerable Lama Dampa, may the auspiciousness of yogurt bring blessings! Yogurt is the essence of all things, may one attain pure essence wisdom, become the source of all virtues, and may this auspiciousness pacify all diseases! In the past, the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni received rouge offered by the earth goddess Tänma (Sa yi Lhamo Tänma), and blessed it as an auspicious substance. Now, for the sake of the long life of the venerable Lama Dampa, may the auspiciousness of rouge bring blessings! Red rouge is the nature of power, may it gather all dharmas, attain the supreme Dharma kingship, and may this auspiciousness stabilize your reign! In the past, the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni received the Bael fruit (Bilwa) offered by Brahma (Lha Tsangpa), and blessed it as an auspicious substance. Now, for the sake of the long life of the venerable Lama Dampa, may the auspiciousness of the Bael fruit bring blessings! The Bael fruit is the best of causes, conditions, and results, all actions of worldly and transworldly nature, will become the essence of supreme enlightenment, may this auspiciousness accomplish all wishes! In the past, the lord of secrets, Vajrapani (Sangwai Dakpo Chakna Dorje), offered mustard seeds to the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni, and blessed it as an auspicious substance. Now, for the sake of the long life of the venerable Lama Dampa, may the auspiciousness of mustard seeds bring blessings! Mustard seeds belong to the Vajra family (Dorjei Rik), destroying all obstacles, may the auspiciousness of power, strength, and perfect virtues, pacify all obstacles! May auspiciousness protect your head like an indestructible umbrella! May auspiciousness shine in your eyes like precious golden fish! May auspiciousness flourish on your tongue like lotus petals! May auspiciousness gleam in your teeth like a white conch shell spiraling to the right! May auspiciousness adorn your neck like a perfect vase! May auspiciousness radiate in your heart like a radiant glorious knot (Palbeu)! May auspiciousness stand on your body like an indestructible victory banner! May auspiciousness spin beneath your feet like a wheel with a thousand spokes! May these eight auspicious things bring happiness and well-being at this moment!
