He himself also resided there. When the Brahmins began to perform the sacrifice, at the time of offering oblations to the body of the son of the desireless one, suddenly, a yogi wearing Gudari, with a skull cup, bathed in the water vessel of the sacrifice. When the Brahmins, holding tiger staffs, began to strike him, he exclaimed, "Phaṭ! Ye!" causing the house of sacrifice to collapse, and everyone was frightened. The yogi then said to the king, "Your son is of the lineage of a Buddha in another life, therefore it is not appropriate to celebrate his birth with a Brahminical sacrifice. You must make a great offering to the yogis." When asked who he was, he said, "I am Meghanatha," and then disappeared into the earth. There, they also acted according to the yogi's instructions. They named the child Rama Gopala. Later, when the prince grew up and was able to speak and understand, he only praised the Buddha and the teacher Goraksha. The queen, Lakshmi, the daughter of the Kshatriya caste, had faith in the Buddha from the beginning. She invited a mendicant from western Saurashtra, who was proficient in the three pitakas and held a vajra. This monk had him memorize many hymns to the Buddha composed by the teacher Makhol. Through the empowerment of many supreme deities and the giving of lineage mantras, he remembered many past lives. In particular, he also fully recalled the words, meanings, letters, and sounds of lighting the lamp of Dharma in the snowy mountains in a previous life, and widely showed them to others, which amazed all the Brahmins and heretics. Furthermore, he received the vows of generating Bodhicitta from the mendicant Kupta Mitra, and received many profound teachings, and practiced recitation and yoga, etc., as appropriate. When he became a prince, he bought flowers and various toys with many silver tolas to play with, but he only offered them to Buddha images and stupas.

Sometimes when they are placed together, the flow of wind stops. Just seeing it, one develops great devotion, prostrates, and stays there, not going to the city. That yogi is the actual disciple of the great accomplished one, O Ko Ra Natha (ओ,o,O; गोर,gora,Gora; नाथ,nātha,Natha), named Megha Natha or Jwala Natha. Here, let me briefly tell the history of those two lamas. The first was a son of a royal family in the central region, whose father died when he was young, and he was raised in his brother's house. A Jogi of the lineage of Birupaksha gave him a practice of a yogini. Apart from that, until he was eighteen years old, he did not study any knowledge, so he was unhappy and was scolded by his brother and the householder, \"What use are you, you fool?\" and was driven out, so he became disillusioned. He lived by begging in other lands, practicing Vajrayogini, and gradually sixteen years passed. He also developed good samadhi, and went to the place of the goddess Uma in the west, Hingalaji. On the stone statue of the goddess, he meditated on one session of the clear light of sleep for six months, and the goddess was frightened and said, \"Yogi, Ra dhi de hi ki ni dhi de.\" The yogi said, \"What do I do with miracles and treasures? If you give me the accomplishment of wisdom, I will accept it.\" The goddess said, \"I do not have the power to give accomplishments, go and seek it from Goraksha.\" So he went to seek Goraksha, and in the land of Sindhu, at the end of a row of countless yogis, there was a person with an extremely ugly face, from whose limbs pus and blood were flowing. He knew that was Goraksha, prostrated and prayed. That person gave him a handful of blessed food, and after drinking it, he immediately mastered all fields of knowledge and became a great accomplished one who directly saw the nature of reality. Because he taught the Dharma, his lineage is very large. Some of his teachings are mixed with the theories of heretics and used, so many heretical yogis called O Ko Ra Panthi also appeared. The latter showed miracles of raining out of season and burning fire on his body, so he was known as the Lord of Clouds and the Lord of Burning.", } ``` ============================================================
