Sometimes when you ascend into the sky, The sun, moon, planets, and stars scatter flowers. The demons are terrified, faint, and their brains explode. You transform the armies of millions of accomplished ones at will. The twelve blood-drinking mothers offer you A thousand songs and billions of musical instruments. When you tame the untamed and violent, the hardened hearts of men like pottery are your food. The marrow of great blood is what you drink when thirsty. In the charnel ground of blazing flames, you play with the great corpses. For the yogi, you examine the warmth of experience; for the one with vows, you are an inseparable and intimate friend. I salute and praise you, the mantra-knowledge war god. Grant the supreme practitioner the accomplishments of the vidyadhara. For some, such as Rilu, eye medicine, mercury, yaksha women, swords, swift legs, and great treasures, even with very little merit, you can accomplish without hindrance from peaceful and other activities, you are the lord of all accomplishments. Even without practice, one obtains abundant power and wealth, and through killing, expelling, and separating, one becomes capable of destroying enemies. I praise you, whose power and skill are unmatched. Here, all those who rule the world have the dust of your lotus feet covering their heads. Just seeing you, the messengers of Yama scatter. In all directions, intermediate directions, and the three realms, the great drum of victory over discord is beaten. That supreme deity, auspicious Mahakala, I always attend to you, the fierce one.
