With one mind, I prostrate myself before the Treasure Victory Buddha. With one mind, I prostrate myself before the Flawless Blazing Treasure Light King Appearance Buddha. With one mind, I prostrate myself before the Golden Flame Light Buddha. With one mind, I prostrate myself before the Golden Hundred Light Illumination Treasury Buddha. With one mind, I prostrate myself before the Golden Mountain Jeweled Canopy Buddha. With one mind, I prostrate myself before the Golden Flower Flame Light Appearance Buddha. With one mind, I prostrate myself before all Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas within the Golden Light Sutra and in the ten directions and three periods of time. With one mind, I prostrate myself before Shariputra (one of the Buddha's ten great disciples, known for his wisdom) and other Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, virtuous and holy Sangha. Universally for all sentient beings in the Dharma Realm, may all be able to cut off the three obstacles, take refuge in life and repent (one bow, visualizing the ten minds in forward and reverse order). I, Bhikshu (so-and-so), take refuge in life and prostrate myself before all Buddhas in the ten directions who have attained Anuttara-Samyak-Sambodhi (unsurpassed perfect enlightenment), turning the wonderful Dharma wheel, holding the illuminating Dharma wheel, raining down the great Dharma rain, striking the great Dharma drum, blowing the great Dharma conch, erecting the great Dharma banner, holding the great Dharma torch, for the sake of benefiting and bringing peace and happiness to all sentient beings, constantly practicing Dharma giving, inducing and guiding confused beings, enabling them to obtain great fruits and attain the state of constant bliss. English version: All karmic obstacles of the past I have already repented. My present karmic obstacles I also now repent. All are confessed and revealed, daring not to conceal. The sins already committed, I hope to eliminate and extinguish. In the future, I dare not create evil deeds again. Just like all the great Bodhisattvas in the ten directions of the world now cultivating the Bodhi path, all their karmic obstacles have already been repented. My karmic obstacles I also now repent. All are confessed and revealed, daring not to conceal. The sins already committed, I hope to eliminate and extinguish. In the future, I dare not create evil deeds again. (Having repented, I take refuge in and prostrate before the Three Jewels) I, Bhiksu (name), take refuge in and prostrate before all the Buddhas, World Honored Ones, in the ten directions. Those who have newly attained perfect enlightenment, have not yet turned the Dharma wheel, and wish to relinquish their manifested bodies and enter Nirvana, I prostrate before all these World Honored Ones. I urge them to turn the Dharma wheel, and request them to abide in the world for a long time, to deliver and bring peace and happiness to all sentient beings. (Having urged, I take refuge in and prostrate before the Three Jewels) I, Bhiksu (name), take refuge in and prostrate before all the Buddhas, World Honored Ones, in the ten directions. I now rejoice in all the merits of giving, precepts, mind, and wisdom cultivated by all sentient beings through their three karmas of body, speech, and mind, as well as the virtuous roots of the Two Vehicles (Śrāvaka and Pratyekabuddha), Bodhisattvas, sages, and saints, the Dharma of the Buddhas in the ten directions attaining wondrous Bodhi, and the merit of giving away all possessions. I sincerely rejoice and praise all of these. (Having rejoiced, I take refuge in and prostrate before the Three Jewels) I, Bhiksu (name), take refuge in and prostrate before all the Buddhas, World Honored Ones, in the ten directions. May the Buddhas bear witness. From beginningless time until today, all the good deeds I have cultivated through my three karmas of body, speech, and mind, giving, precepts, good mind, and wisdom, even repentance, urging, and rejoicing, I gather all of these before me and dedicate them to all sentient beings in the Dharma realm, so that they may attain Bodhi together, just like the Buddhas. (Having dedicated, I take refuge in and prostrate before the Three Jewels) I, Bhiksu (name), take refuge in and prostrate before all the Buddhas, World Honored Ones, in the ten directions. May the Buddhas witness my humble sincerity and the vows I now make. May the devas (gods) and the eight classes of beings (Devas, Nagas, Yakshas, Gandharvas, Asuras, Garudas, Kinnaras, and Mahoragas) increase their majestic power and always come to protect this country of mine. May the wind be favorable and the rain timely, and may the grains and fruits be abundant. May the wise emperor rule with boundless compassion. May the ministers and officials always maintain their honor and glory. May the myriad people and the four classes of citizens (scholars, farmers, artisans, and merchants) forever be peaceful, prosperous, and happy. May the patrons of the Buddha Dharma, parents, teachers, and Sangha, past enemies and relatives, and all sentient beings in the Dharma realm, all generate right faith and arouse the Bodhi mind, cultivate the Six Perfections (Dāna, Śīla, Kṣānti, Vīrya, Dhyāna, and Prajñā) together, and equally perfect both merit and wisdom. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
