English version Among the assembly, they praise my name. Those Buddhas-Bhagavans (Buddha-Bhagavan), I have reached all their places. Offering and serving them, without any distinction of before, after, or middle. In a single thought, manifesting all forms (rupa-kaya). Holding all offerings, offering to all the Bhagavans (Bhagavan). Receiving and upholding the Dharma-dhatu (Dharma-dhatu), and transforming sentient beings. Offering to all Bodhisattvas (Bodhisattva), and also offering to Sravakas (Sravaka). By this expedient power, may I quickly attain Bodhi (Bodhi). At the beginning of the future Bhadrakalpa (Bhadrakalpa), may I see Maitreya-Bhagavan (Maitreya-Bhagavan). I vow in the Bhadrakalpa (Bhadrakalpa) to perfect the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment. Obtaining great supernatural powers, in the kalpas of the Bhadrakalpa (Bhadrakalpa). From my initial aspiration, until I attain Bodhi (Bodhi). In between these two, I cultivate ascetic practices for the sake of the path. Renouncing fame, gain, and profit, renouncing all relatives. Always staying in deep mountains, repenting of the sins that obstruct the path. If I obtain supernatural powers, I will repay the kindness of the Buddhas of the ten directions. May I uphold Sakya's (Sakya) Dharma, and may it abide forever without extinction. Until Maitreya (Maitreya) appears in the world, may the transformation of sentient beings never cease. I vow in this life to become a long-lived immortal with the five supernatural powers. Cultivating various samadhis, learning the sixth supernatural power. Perfecting all Dharma-gates, attaining the ground of equal enlightenment. The wonderful enlightenment is always serene, and I use this to liberate sentient beings. The Buddhas have no superiority or inferiority, but act according to their original vows. Following the expedients of the Buddhas, manifesting various names. I now enter the mountains to cultivate ascetic practices. I repent of the grave sins of breaking precepts and obstructing the path. I repent of all the sins of this life and previous lives. For the sake of protecting the Dharma, I seek longevity. I do not wish to be born in the heavens or other realms. May all the sages assist me. May I obtain good ganoderma and divine elixirs. May I cure all diseases and eliminate hunger and thirst. May I always be able to walk and cultivate various samadhis. May I obtain a quiet place in the deep mountains. I cultivate this vow with the help of divine elixirs. I cultivate the inner elixir with the help of the outer elixir. If you want to pacify sentient beings, you must first pacify yourself. There is no such thing as being able to untie the bonds of others when one's own body is bound. By the power of this vow to seek the path, I will become a long-lived immortal and see Maitreya (Maitreya). Not being greedy for life, I make this vow, since I am still a mortal and have not yet attained the path, I fear (the following content is missing) 应常念本愿舍诸有为事。名闻及利养乃至恶弟子内外悉应舍。专求四如意八种自在我五眼及种智。为佛一切智当发大精进。具足神通力可化众生耳。当念十方佛海慧诸大士。世间所有道俗殷勤请讲供养者。乃至强劝请令讲经者。此等道俗皆非善知识是恶知识耳。何以故。皆是恶魔所使。初即假作殷勤似有好心。后即斗生忿怒。善恶二魔俱非好事。从今已后不应信此。所有学士亦复如是。皆不可信。如怨诈亲。苦哉苦哉。不可思议诸王刹利处皆亦复如是。择择择择。 南岳思大禅师立誓愿文 现代汉语译本： 为了守护正法而发此愿，愿佛陀慈悲怜悯，使我迅速成就。 愿诸佛世尊共同见证，梵天、帝释天、四大天王作为证明。 日月星辰以及星宿，金刚大力士以及神仙， 五岳、四海以及名山，诸位大圣王也作为证明。 愿以慈悲之心拥护我，使此誓愿迅速得以成就。 应当常常忆念根本誓愿，舍弃一切有为之事。名声、利益供养乃至恶劣的弟子，内外一切都应当舍弃。专心寻求四如意足（chanda-riddhipada, viriya-riddhipada, citta-riddhipada, vimamsa-riddhipada），八种自在（身能飞行，变化等八种神通），五眼（肉眼、天眼、慧眼、法眼、佛眼）以及一切种智（sarva-akarajnata）。为了成就佛陀的一切智慧，应当发起大精进。具备神通力量，才能教化众生。应当忆念十方佛陀、如海般智慧的诸位大菩萨。 世间所有僧侣和在家信徒，殷勤地请求讲经说法并供养，乃至强行劝请讲经的人。这些僧侣和在家信徒都不是善知识，而是恶知识。为什么呢？这些人都是恶魔所驱使。起初假装殷勤，好像很有好心，之后就会争斗生起忿怒。善恶两种魔都不是好事。从今以后不应该相信这些人。所有学士也都是这样，都不可信任，如同怨家假装亲近。苦啊苦啊！不可思议，各个刹土的国王和刹帝利（kshatriya）也是如此。选择啊选择啊！ 南岳思大禅师（Nan Yue Si Da Chan Shi）所立誓愿文
