This is dedicated to the great Bodhi by the one who possesses the glory of noble lineage and youth, and by these scholars who are proficient in writing, with the intention of faith, respect, and joy in virtue. Completed on the fifteenth day of the waxing moon in the year of the Great Drum, when the land is fertile and fish abound. This was completed in the immeasurable palace of glorious Langri Tang. (History of building the Eight Thousand Verse Prajnaparamita Sutra and the Extensive Sutra) Svasti praja bhyah! May all beings be well! With the youthful radiance of the crescent moon on the crown of auspicious arising, the red light of the lotus feet gently raised. Possessing the glory of making the three realms like daytime, Great Teacher, supreme of all Buddhas, please protect us here! With the beautiful flowers that please all the Buddhas, the joyful Holy Mother, holding elegance. Constantly bearing the burden of the Victorious One's sons, may you protect all beings from the path of darkness. The hundred flavors untasted by the enemy of honey (bees), having drunk with the wisdom of discernment, and the altruistic wish-fulfilling jewel, fully displayed on the shoulder. May the Sangha who uphold the Buddha's teachings, remain steadfast! By the activities of the precious Three Jewels, in the towering palace built by them, the kings who have continuously protected the great earth, are the ornaments of a country with flourishing Dharma and politics. There, a virtuous woman named Paljom Zangmo, from the lap of her treasure of merit, the spectacle of the mountain-like piles of scriptures, on the smooth surface like stacked blue lotuses, adorned with charming pure gold lines. This amazing new sound of Dharma, may it always hold the water treasure of Indra's heart. Whether writing, reciting, or offering this scripture, the auspiciousness and merit that it brings, may it be equal to space and perfectly accomplished! Thereafter, the lord of men, Namkha Gyaltsen Pal, the king of the earth with his mother and siblings, may they never be obscured by the fierce breath of the Rahu of time, and the violent jealousy of the unruly heretics, by the hand of Vishnu. May they sit on the throne drawn by a hundred horses of merit, the light of their activities shining in all directions, and their subjects increasing like the ocean! The 'Essence of the Holy Mother, Hundred Thousand Verses' and the extremely extensive Avatamsaka Sutra, on the dark blue paper, the main letters shining brightly. This is the essence of the teachings, the support of speech. Thereafter, with a hundred doors of eloquent teachings, and a hundred thousand kinds of wondrous sounds of the Gaṇḍī (a type of bell), constantly skilled at gathering the ocean of clear minds, holding the great monastery, the treasury of the teachings. Thus, with the three pure paths accomplished, may the Vajradhara (holder of the vajra) who is the master of the four joys in all dharmas, may his intentions become increasingly profound, and may the sun of the complete dharma arise! Named Miwang Donyo Gyalpo (Tibetan: མི་དབང་དོན་ཡོད་རྒྱལ་པོ།, meaning: Meaningful King), may his mindstream be unstained by impurities, quickly complete the two accumulations, and attain the position of Dharma King! Thereafter, Lodrö Chökyi Gyaltsen (Tibetan: བློ་གྲོས་ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྒྱལ་མཚན།, meaning: Banner of Wisdom Dharma) also, being closely protected by glorious Trinley Zangpo (Tibetan: ཕྲིན་ལས་བཟང་པོ།, meaning: Auspicious Activity), may his feet be firm, becoming the glory of beings in the three realms, and may auspiciousness increase with pure activities! Vajradhara (holder of the vajra), the lord of all lineages, the sacred Dharma which is the glory of the four uncontaminated joys, the son of the Victorious One who holds the glory of Trinley Zangpo (Tibetan: ཕྲིན་ལས་བཟང་པོ།, meaning: Auspicious Activity), the embodiment of the Three Jewels, may he be auspicious! Mangalam (Auspiciousness)! Catalogue of the Kon Tsek (Tibetan: དཀོན་བརྩེགས།) built by Gyaltri Pönpa (Tibetan: རྒྱལ་ཁྲི་དཔོན་པ།) Om Svasti Siddham! (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་སྭསྟི་སིདྡྷཾ།) Whose body is the essence of the three kayas, Vajradhara; whose speech is the lord of speech, Manjushri; your mind is the master of compassion, Avalokiteshvara; grant the supreme accomplishments here! Emanation of Amitabha (Sanskrit Devanagari: अमिताभ, Sanskrit Romanization: Amitābha, Chinese literal meaning: Infinite Light) Atisha (Sanskrit Devanagari: अतिश, Sanskrit Romanization: Atiśa, Chinese literal meaning: अतिश)! Lord of compassion, the name of the spiritual friend and teacher! Born in the year of the horse with good fortune, a descendant of the Buddha, may the lineage masters protect me here! The source of benefit and happiness, the precious teachings of Shakyamuni, may they remain long and never decline, in this wish-fulfilling great lake of the snowy land, the two statues of Shakyamuni, Jowo Shakyamuni (Tibetan: ཇོ་ཤཱཀ་རྣམ་གཉིས།), reside. With this blessing, the north of Ü-Tsang (Tibetan: དབུ་རུ།), a prosperous and flourishing land, filled with wealth like the ocean, shining the white light of the teachings like the sun. Most people are fields of faith, like the fertile earth skilled at creating abundant harvests, in a past time in this land, never oppressed by the arrogance of others. The lord of the world, the name of Gyama Situ (Tibetan: རྒྱ་མ་སི་ཏུ།), the name of Döndrup Gyaltsen (Tibetan: དོན་གྲུབ་རྒྱལ་མཚན།, meaning: Accomplished Banner) is higher than all. His son Dorje Tseten Yeshe (Tibetan: རྡོ་རྗེ་ཚེ་བརྟན་ཡེ་ཤེས།, meaning: Vajra Long Life Wisdom) is supreme, his lineage is most noble, named Namkhai (Tibetan: ནམ་མཁའི།, meaning: Sky). His third son, having completely mastered all the doctrines of both politics and religion, passed away peacefully in the pure land with unwavering faith, diligence, and wisdom that others could not steal.
