I prostrate to the supreme and primordial Buddha and the protector of the indivisible wheel. པྲ་ཎ་མྱཱ་ཎ་ཤྲཱི་ཝ་རྭ་དཱི་བུདྷ་ཤྩ་དྭེ་ཡ་ཙཀྲེ་ནཱ་ཐཱ་ཡ། (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Literal Meaning) Limitless wisdom's cool rays, a billion lights shining brightly. Clearer than all, unsurpassed compassion, making the earth auspicious. With the supreme union of Vajra Samadhi, seeing the suchness of all phenomena. Master of speech, accomplished, possessing virtuous qualities, I bow to you. Endowed with the eye of wisdom that clearly sees the nature of things as they are and as many as they are, a place where the infinite beings of the degenerate age rely on the jewel on their heads. With unmatched intellect, well-versed in the fields of inner and outer knowledge, freely interpreting the words of the Buddha and the treatises that have become authoritative through the path of reason, the great scholar Kīrti Vajra, whose fame has reached the ends of the Vajra realm in the three worlds. I will briefly describe the manner in which I was fortunate enough to be nourished by his nectar-like words. First, I have heard many times the empowerment lineage of the common practice of the nine deities from the Bhagavan Buddha Amitāyus: Buddha Amitāyus, Acharya Shantarakshita, Jetari, Bodhibhadra, Samadhibhadra, Vajrasana, Bari Lotsawa, the Great Sakya Lama, Acharya Sonam Tsemo, Jetsun Rinpoche, Sakya Pandita, Sharpa Dorje Odzer, Lama Tashi Odzer, Epa Khonton, Lama Jamyang Chenpo, Bodhisattva Gyalye, Drakpa Pal, Sulungpa Kunmon, Drakphukpa, Lodro Tenpa, Lama Paldan Tsultrim, Chöje Yeshe Gyaltsen, Je Kunga Zangpo, Scholar-Accomplished Paldan Dorje, Shar Minyak Pandita Drakpa Dorje.
