From the palaces of the four directions and eight intermediate directions, The four goddesses and the four swift mothers, Gathering life from all of existence and non-existence, Grant to us fortunate ones! The life of the immortal Vajra heart, When expanded, adorns the three realms with splendor, When contracted, dissolves into the heart-life Nri, When protected, generates radiance in the body, When bound, a Vajra rosary, Like an indestructible Vajra iron chain, That immortal Vajra siddhi, Grant to us fortunate ones! The actual empowerment is: the students are bathed, obstacles are dispelled, flowers are scattered and gathered, and the Dharma is taught and connected as appropriate. Here, the great teacher of Oddiyana, Padmasambhava himself, in response to the prayers of the fortunate king and subjects of the past, and out of compassion for future disciples, did not speak of many profound path instructions, but instructed them to be hidden in many treasures. As it is said: In the degenerate age of strife, To dispel the suffering of beings, To show the path of liberation in one lifetime, Treasures are hidden in the precious earth. As it is said. From the ocean of birth, old age, sickness, and death, I pray that the great powerful one will liberate me. Thus, pray three times.
