The profound oral transmission of the Body Mandala section from the Mind Treasure of the Sky Dharma: The Great Perfection Instruction, "Holding the Buddha in Hand." Mipham Dorje. The profound oral transmission of the Body Mandala section from the Mind Treasure of the Sky Dharma: The Great Perfection Instruction, "Holding the Buddha in Hand." Mipham Dorje. The profound oral transmission of the Body Mandala section from the Mind Treasure of the Sky Dharma: The Great Perfection Instruction called "Holding the Buddha in Hand" resides herein. Homage to glorious Samantabhadra! This leisure and fortune body is extremely difficult to find. No matter where or how one is born, one is impermanent and dies. If one strives in virtuous Dharma, it is the cause of Buddhahood. Whatever sins one commits, one wanders in the six realms accordingly. Hungry ghosts suffer from hunger and thirst, animals are foolish, hells are hot and cold, humans experience birth, aging, sickness, and death. Asuras have fighting and strife, and gods have the suffering of falling. The extensive instructions on this are as follows: This body of leisure and fortune is extremely difficult to find. Even if one finds it once, it is impermanent. No matter what kind of being or where one is born, one impermanently dies without delay. If one strives greatly in various virtuous Dharmas, it is the cause of attaining Buddhahood. Whatever sins one commits, one wanders in the six realms accordingly, such as the ignorant animals and the miserly hungry ghosts. Hungry ghosts suffer greatly from hunger and thirst. Similarly, animals are extremely foolish and ignorant. Hells have the suffering of heat and cold. Even if one is born as a human, the suffering of birth, aging, sickness, and death is inconceivable. Even if one is born as an asura, there is the suffering of fighting and strife. In the realm of the gods, there is the suffering of defeat and falling, which is also inconceivable. In the sky in front of me, Samantabhadra is surrounded by countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. I single-mindedly take refuge in Samantabhadra, the Victorious One, together with all his sons. I dedicate the merit to all mother sentient beings in the six realms. For the sake of sentient beings, I generate the mind of enlightenment. Now, visualize that in the sky in front of you, the Dharmakaya Samantabhadra resides, surrounded like a marketplace by countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. I single-mindedly take refuge in Samantabhadra, the Victorious One, together with all his sons. I dedicate the merit of taking refuge in this way

I dedicate this merit to all sentient beings in the six realms of samsara! For the benefit of all sentient beings, I generate the supreme mind of great enlightenment! In the sky in front of me, visualize Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra), surrounded by countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Gather all the merits of the four continents and offer the mandala. On the crown of my head, visualize Vajrasattva, with a white body. His two hands hold a vajra and a bell in an embracing gesture. From his body, a stream of nectar flows down, filling the entire body, and all sins and obscurations disappear like black smoke. Finally, Vajrasattva dissolves into myself, and I myself become Vajrasattva. In the sky directly above me, visualize the glorious Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra), surrounded by countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Gather all the merits and virtues of Mount Meru, the four continents, and the eight subcontinents, and think that you are offering this mandala to Kuntuzangpo in front of you, surrounded by countless Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. On the crown of my head, visualize Vajrasattva, with an extremely white body. His two hands hold a vajra and a bell in an embracing gesture. From his body, a stream of white nectar flows straight down, filling the entire body, and all sins and obscurations disappear like black smoke. Finally, Vajrasattva dissolves into myself, and I myself become Vajrasattva. On the crown of my head, visualize Padmasambhava, and visualize all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas gathered together. The form is Padmasambhava, but the essence is my root guru. Pray to him with one-pointed devotion, and finally, visualize them all dissolving into myself. On the crown of my head, visualize Orgyen Guru Padmasambhava, and visualize all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas gathered in his essence. His form is Padmasambhava, but the essence is my root guru. Pray to him with one-pointed devotion, and finally, visualize all that arises dissolving into myself. Even if you place a statue or a piece of wood or stone in front of you, you can visualize the deity and let your consciousness revolve around it. Try to keep your mind in that state as much as possible. Be aware of both the still and moving states. Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, Nirmanakaya! Whether it is a golden statue of Shakyamuni Buddha, or a lotus, or a stick, a stone, or anything else, you can place it in front of you and visualize the deity Shakyamuni Buddha, or Vajrasattva, or Kuntuzangpo (Samantabhadra), or Vajradhara.
