Here, the appropriate teachings for the occasion. This noble Tara, in the definitive sense, is no different from the Mother of the Four Sugatas, the Perfection of Wisdom. However, to guide sentient beings, she took birth in various realms as the daughter of King Light, named Wisdom Moon. From the Thus Come One Drum Sound, she generated the mind of enlightenment and vowed to liberate beings and subdue demons in the female form alone until the end of samsara. Her generation of the mind of enlightenment and the practice of bodhicitta are superior to all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions and three times. It is also shown that she arose from the great wisdom of the Lord of the World, Avalokiteshvara, and performs limitless deeds for the benefit of beings through inconceivable manifestations. The mantras and tantras of Tara are inconceivable, and have been successively spoken by the Buddhas of the past. Now, in the teachings of our teacher, there are many who have attained realization of the sutras and tantras. The sadhanas related to these, which originated from the oral traditions of the masters, have appeared limitlessly in both India and Tibet. Here, the profound instructions given by Guru Padmasambhava, the embodiment of Amitabha, to the king and his subjects were hidden as eighteen types of treasures for the benefit of future disciples.
